"Don't Touch My Clogs" Brianna - SPDS "Fantasy" Showcase

Saskatoon Pole & Dance Studio hosted their thirteenth Studio Showcase Oct 26th, 2024. "Fantasy" showcased Pole, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Cube and Dance performances from studio members & instructors.
Instructor Brianna is very excited to perform at the new SPDS space! After having a baby back in May, she has been getting back into dancing and teaching and is so happy to be back!
What's her Fantasy, you may be wondering? Brianna's Fantasy is that people would leave postpartum bodies ALONE. After growing and sustaining a whole human life, don't ask a new parent when they're going to "get their body back", advertise ways to "lose the baby weight", or even promote breastfeeding by telling new parents it's a great way to lose weight. Let's celebrate the fact that we have created human life and are using our bodies to keep that tiny human alive and happy!
Tonight, Brianna is going to perform for you all not because she wanted to loose weight and get into shape, but because she genuinely enjoys what she does and finds that being active helps her feel good. And she's going to fantasize that everyone here's first assumption is that she poles for pleasure, and not weight loss.
