As for the part about monogamy, the reason why people ask that of gay couples and not straight couples is because it's somewhat common for gay couples, in general, to be 'Open' compared to straight couples, so some people are curious as to where a gay couple would fall in to. I know I asked that question to you guys last year, and I apologize if it seemed invasive or tone deaf, it's just, to me, kind of a breath of fresh air to see a gay couple be strictly monogamous after seeing so many varying levels of 'Openness' in gay relationships in the community.

No worries, we didn't find your initial comments invasive, we are just disappointed that it's what people are interested in but at the same time we find it important for other gay men to know that plenty of us believe in monogamous relationships and want them. In our experience we have learned that in many open relationships it's typically one who wants it open and the other just goes along with it for whatever reason. To us, it's little more than being roommates with benefits. To each their own, though.
You guys were talking about deaths going on in your family! All four of grandparents are dead, late cousin; Sheila died in 2018 at age 43. This year, my father's brother-in-law died on December 6!
