Definately prefer to go alone. Hiking same. There is just always SOMEONE in the group that talks and talks and talks (kind of like that annoying loud music in the background) Ill take my chances.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you'd enjoy ASMR content much more than ours. "Annoying loud music" is sort of a theme of this channel 🤣

I would put not getting the vehicle ready for Overlanding as #1

While these were in no particular order, I definitely agree that that's the most important one!

I prefer going on alone when overlanding I'm new to it and do you have any tips for guys like me?
I only go with a group during meets and trail runs only.

Definitely nothing wrong with that. Often times, we prefer to do the same (go out on our own).
The biggest tip I could give when going solo is probably just to "re-calibrate" your mind-set around what you will or won't do and where you will or won't go.
When overlanding on our own, we always tend to take a more cautious approach. We're less likely to tackle deep mud or snow, or try sketchy obstacles ... knowing that we are on our own. When with a group, we will be more willing to "stretch" our comfort level a bit more ... if that makes sense.
Also, I'd say traveling solo requires a bit more thought on the amount of gear your bring. Recovery gear, survival gear, communications geat, etc ...
