No way possible to pull these out facing forward solo. There's just too much surface tension and drag caused by the back end ride plate. If there was two people it might be possible to lay the ski down on one side of it to get rid of that bottom drag and then possibly have one person pulling and one person pushing. For me it was only possible to turn it sideways and walk it out a couple inches on the front then a couple inches on the back rinse and repeat until I finally got into Shin deep water 20 ft later.
