- Creek walking a new spot and it's loaded with treasure! This site is guarded with hundreds of mosquitos and I had to do an emergency retreat! Stay tuned for part 2 when I go back with my metal detector to search for relics.
What's up with the bottles all being broken at the neck? if anyone knows comment below. I think someone did it on purpose to keep creek walkers away.

New Zealand! I’ve been watching you almost 10 years 😀
@@AnOldHag7299 WOW 10 YEARS IS INCREDIBLE! Thank you!
New Mexico here.
Massachusetts! Thank you for all the good videos
Mozarks!
NEW Video! Hope y'all enjoy!
There is a great invention called bug spray. "Off" is the brand I use.
Nebraska. Mosquitoes are going to be bad everywhere this year. Sad seeing so much junk in the streams. Always enjoy your videos!
Lots of rain and standing still water, so bugs are all over. Thanks for watching! There was also a homeless camp in the creek which I didn't show. Didn't see anyone around but it looked fresh activity
@@nuggetnoggin Be careful out there! Your explorations are extensive!! Lol! Really...be careful.🙂
The "level" was actually a small butane torch. I have one like it.
Cool! Thanks for watching
Great finds!! Your Vicks bottle may be cough medicine. I remember it as a kid! It was like swallowing liquid Vicks vaporub!! 😂
Makes sense on the vicks bottle. I would of found ALOT more if the bugs didn't scare me away haha
Watched you way back in middle school and randomly stumbled back upon your channel as a freshman in college. Thanks for all the memories, god bless
Welcome back! I'm glad I was able to give you a few awesome memories.
Hey Mike , NYC here . Been watching you since you were a little boy.
Another old school video .
Just great . 👍
Mike Espo . 😊
Thank you for always watching and commenting! Appreciate the support!
Kansas City. Sad how people use these creeks as garbage dumps.
Thanks for watching!
South Texas here! Very nice Cheer Wine Bottle Nugget! I agree, take your MD back to this creek and check it out. That's a LOT of miles on your truck! Happy Memorial Day and God bless!
South texas sounds nice! Lots of Arrowheads down there I have seen. I think the metal detector will reveal coins and relics from the old town site nearby. I hope to make it to 500,000 miles! haha. Happy Hunting and God bless!
@@nuggetnoggin I have always wanted to hunt for arrow heads down here. I need to just start! I bet your truck makes it...take good care of it.
dang mosquitoes!
Haha yeah, and it's weird how some creeks have no bugs at all. then this one is loaded with bugs too
From Wyoming. Take care out there. West Nile is no joke. I have two relatives who have had it many years. They are still having effects from it.
Thank you. Yeah for real, I wasn't going to put up with getting bite for hours. I had to get out of there. More videos on the way
Ontario, Canada. Thanks for taking us along, I'm itching all over thinking about all those bites.
Thanks for watching!
You be "EYEBALLING" some good stuff!!!
👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁
Ticks and mosquitoes are horrible this year. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
It sure is! Thanks for watching!
It’s been a minute since I watched you! I’m 17 and the last time I watched one of your vids I was 12. Appreciate the videos don’t give up!🔥
Thank you for the continued support!
Missouri here! Really enjoy your videos and adventures!
Awesome! Thank you!
Martinsville VA! Strange about the bottles! Nice couple of finds! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
@nuggitnoggin when we were little we would clang 2 coke bottles with hopes of breaking off a glass "ring" to wear. A lot of times we would end up breaking both. We would get one complete every so often. Then sand the edges to it wasn't sharp
From Oklahoma. Love your videos. Been following for years.
Thank you for watching all this years! New videos on the way soon!
Watching from Germany. Your creek walking videos are always nice.
Glad you like them! just posted a new metal detecting video, i hope you check it out!
Enjoyed the creek walk, that green bottle is cool. Thanks for sharing, always enjoy your adventures. God bless from Mississippi
Next time I will find more if I can stay longer and stand the bugs. Thanks for watching!
Beulah Michigan
Thanks for watching from Michigan!
Neat little finds, Michael. That Vicks bottle is cool, and I love the Cheerwine!❤
Thanks a bunch
You should take a garbage bag & pick up the trash while your out there. Great video
Thank you! I could try if the bag don’t break . It would help with the lightweight trash laying around.
@@nuggetnogginuse a bucket 😊
The Vicks bottle probably dates back to when Vicks made a cough syrup with codine in it. That stuff really stopped your cough !...
That thing you said was a laser stud finder was actually a torch lighter
Thanks for the ID
I get the same reaction to mosquito bites. They make for a very unpleasant outing when they use you for their dinner. Nice video though and l enjoyed seeing your finds. Watching from Nova Scotia where we are getting heavy rain right now but very welcomed. Have a great week and please keep safe. 😊🇨🇦
Stay safe and dry in Nova Scotia. Thanks for watching and enjoying the video!
Hey for bugs and spiders try Avon skin so soft it works great
I'll definitely try it out and see how it works
Hi! From coastal Alabama, traveled all over us with the Navy, Job well done..The broken caps of the bottles could be from exact target practice, js, 😊
thanks for watching!
Vancouver loves the hunts you take us on! Another Caravan! You sure know your stuff! 😊 Lol I started scratching....
Thank you! I have been finding lots of Caravans lately. This was a different creek too and like 50 miles away
I’d like to imagine most of the those bottles were bought at some old fashioned general stores in the area.
Thanks nugget
That first phone looks like the 2016 Galaxy J1, and the 2nd one looks like an LG
Thanks for watching!
Great idea to do cleanup. You could sell the metal you find too
I am watching from Louisiana, always love to watch your videos.🙏👍❤️
Stay cool down there! Thank you for watching again!
Cool bottles thanks!!!!!!
Mosquitos leave terrible welts on me. I swell up awful from their bites. I use different things to repel them. Just depends on what is on hand. Yellow Listerine works well. Skin so soft. Two Old Goats lotion in a blue bottle works VERY well. Love your videos. Hubby and I watch them together. God bless you.
Mosquito bites are the worst. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely give those a try. Glad you and your hubby enjoy the videos. God bless you both!
Got to stay away from the woods in the Summer. Bottle digging/detecting in the woods only at the beginning/end of the year for me.
That’s true, this would be a perfect spot to revisit in the fall or winter
Florida! Would love to help see the creek cleaned up 👍🏼
Maybe one day! I should do a creek clean up video. Start with the small stuff first
I read somewhere to put mint mouthwash in a spray bottle to mist yourself to repel mosquitoes and other pesky flying things. make sure though to close your eyes when you do it. Great finds and it is weird how the bottles were broken like that, maybe a flood causing the bottles to roll and smash.
Great tip! I’ll try it for the bugs. Yeah, I think someone broke them on purpose. Floods wouldn’t break them all on the same spot. Hard to say though
I love a good creek stream hunt,I've explored every single creek local to me within 10miles,dug every bottle tip and explored every forest,I need to learn to drive or get my self moped and go exploring again further afield
Sounds like you've done a ton of exploration, that's sweet! Try going back to one of the productive creeks after a rain storm, you might find more
That black and orange thing with the clear cylinder is actually a torch lighter. I have the same one.
That’s cool, thanks for letting me know
Back in my day, the late 50s and 60s Vicks had a liquid form of cough medicine. My mom use to give me that. Eventually they stopped making it. I recognize the bottle, lol
That’s neat!
Great video apart from the mosquitos . I know the feeling of getting bitten by them we have very very tiny midge's they get everywhere i mean everywhere they bite as well. They are absolutely brutal little things . From Scotland
Surprised Scotland has mosquitoes too. Thanks for the support!
@@nuggetnoggin We don't have mosquitos .
Watching from Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. You supplied lunch to a lot of mosquitoes!
Haha yes I did. Thanks for watching!
Please Noggin use bug spray. Prayers you done get anything from all those skeeter bits. God Bless.!👍😘
Thank you, I will
Warrington, UK.. I've gone metal detecting at the lakeside and even using the best repellent I've been eaten up by midges / mosquitoes. And damn it they itch so bad afterwards!
God bless and good luck mate
Thank you for watching and Happy Hunting!
Lexington Ky here, I lot of that junk may be from a once in a decade flooding cleaning up some people's yards lol
Haha yep, it washed out of their yards into the creek. May of not been tossed in on purpose
Them skeeters work for the IRS.
Haha! Or bi!! g@tes. I would believe it though. Thanks for watching!
😂 I was just thinking where are the marbles when you said that!
you need some tropical-strength bug stray that contains DEET, the only thing that works when the bugs are that bad.
Watching from West Virginia! I love your creek walking adventures they are so exciting❤
So glad you enjoy the creek videos! It's fun to do when i have a few hours to spare in the afternoon. I'll have to try out west virginia creeks soon
Fun watchin ya have fun nugget. Not fun watchin ya get ate alive. Seems that you're a little bit allergic? Hope you have better luck next time brother. Many blessings
Thank you! I’m sure I’m a little allergic to the bites when I first get them , it’s goes down hours later
Those mosquitoes nailed you good! Nice place to hunt!
Yes they sure did. I’m ready to go back soon
Great watching you, love when you find Native American artifacts. I use Listerine mouth wash, for the skeeeeeeeeters, diluted with a little water, and put in spray bottle, has worked good when fishing,
Thanks for the tips! I have never heard of Listerine yet, it must be some strong stuff to keep the bugs off haha. I will give that a try too. I hope to find more NA artifacts soon! My goal is to find 100 arrowheads in one year!
Great job my brother 💙
Thanks ✌
Lotta Junque - Lotta Skeeters!
true! thanks for watching again
Creek looks spectacular. Load up.
I'll try my best too
Don’t think that’s a stud finder lol. Looks like a torch
Yeah, I figured out it's a torch
That orange & black thing you thought had a level. It's a torch lighter.. an the clear part is the fuel .
Cool, thank you!
Warren Co., Mississippi!! And Nugget....ya know.....MALARIA IS REAL.
Thank you for watching!
You probably forgot the Off Mike, but WalMart has a good generic brand, but I'm surprised living where you do you haven't already come up with natural repellant remedies. Happy Hunting
Thanks for watching! Yeah i'll bring it next time. This season is really bad with bugs so spray doesn't help as much
That complete bowl, is a gravy boat, at least thats what Gma's looked like, and the lid should have had a slot for the ladle handle!
JS, that's what it looked like!
Thanks for watching! Surprised the bowl was complete but bottles broken lol
@@nuggetnoggin, my pleasure, and had some time to spare! I too find artifacts, and yes in creeks as well!
Not as young anymore, and takes more doing, but watching can be just as fun, if that's your hobby!?
Keep on finding and showing, even the broken, because the rarity of the unbroken and great condition, makes it so much more exciting!
😊my reclining chair in my living room somewhere on long Island NY 😊😊
Thanks for watching!
You found a Hannah Montana bike on the bank 😛 no wonder it’s in the Creek. 😂 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
@@nuggetnoggin Always Micheal. 🇬🇧 👍🏼
Everything about what you are doing excites my sense of wonder and adventure! Everything but the freegin mosquitoes 😡
Thank you! It was a wonderful adventure because you never know what you're going to come across in a creek. The mosquitoes did make it a bad experience though! I need to go back in the winter lol
ouch!!🦟🦟
🦟🦟🦟
Ouch I feel your pain with the mosquitoes. Are you O+? As I’ve heard that mosquitoes ❤ people with this type of blood group.
👍👍👍👍👍 hope you had a great memorial weekend.
It's best really great! Hung out at home and relaxed and then cooked out with family. Hope yours went great too!
For some reason, I NEVER get skeeter bites - least not around my (SC) Piedmont woods, which has mostly clay soils, some black top soil (not sure why). But my wife gets bit here a LOT. Weird. But I have been in places on the coastal bays where they ate me up (worst I've ever seen!). But, at my parents house in the sandhills - likewise, skeeters there are ravenous and murderous!
Skin -so-soft works well when rubbed on skin.
I'll give it a try!
Hi watching from Monroe Michigan. The laser thing is a LIGHTER. God bless you and your family. 🙋🏻♀️💙🇺🇸
Thanks for the ID for the laser . Thanks for watching from Michigan! God bless
nugget get a therma cell for the mosquitos they work great.
I have one but didn't bring it. From my experience the Therma cell is no good for this type of environment, especially when you are constantly moving. It does work decent when you are sitting still in a chair. Them WILD Mosquitoes don't care and will bite regardless haha. Thanks for watching!
I was just thinking that I wish somehow someone could get the rivers cleaned up. Then you said something about it. 😂
The easy part would be picking up the trash, the hardest thing is somehow getting it out of the creek and get a huge dumpster or dump truck to load it up in. I do walk a good distance upstream when I do this adventures. Thanks for watching!
The sand fleas got on me last month in Edisto. Ran me off the beach!
I could believe that! Those are no fun
Skin So Soft from Avon will help with those critters. Plus you'll smell good with softer skin.
Thanks for the tip!
Have you ever tried a thermacell i use them while hunting they work really well
I have before and it worked okay. It didn’t keep all the mosquitoes away though . I didn’t like breathing in the chemicals or whatever it sprays out of it. They do work better than bug spray though lol. Bug net for my face will work too
Such a shame to see our waterways polluted with so much junk.
Yes is it. Imagine 200 years ago you would be able to drink out of the creek and survive lol. Now it might be pretty harsh the side effects. Thanks for watching
Used to love creek walking.
thanks for watching! It's still fun to do when i have a chance
Three mosquitos and you’re running for the truck.
Haha
At 10:19 that’s the bottom bowl to one of those ceramic or glass chickens
Ohh that's really cool! Thanks for watching!
Cartersville Ga!
Awesome ,thanks for watching!
Hey from Georgia!!
Thanks for watching from Georgia!
7:39 it's a torch lighter and bottle opener
Awesome, thank you!
Some people would take a knife and hit the bottle cap at an angle to open. Wouldn’t have had a bottle opener to open it.
Cherwines!
They are always awesome to find. Thanks for the support!
Could the debris be from a tornado or a hurricane? Or heavy floods?
Heavy floods. There was a homeless camp site up on the banks and them shopping buggies and tents are washing into the creek making it very trashy. There's also older trash like tires and bottles people dumped . We do have lots of floods around here in the spring
That baby stroller was creepy.
There was luggages in the creek too. Lots of modern trash
I've been on the Olympic Peninsula in WA state since 2013 and still haven't seen a mosquito.
WOW must not be any mosquitoes out there. I know in Alaska they are really bad haha. Thanks for watching!
@@nuggetnoggin There are some but further west and east of us
You could probably cut the tops off old bottles and turn them into glasses
True
Add Downy sheets in your pocket half sticking out under hat half sticking out and it will keep mosquitos away.Ten
I’ll have to try that too. Seems to be a lot of different ways
What a shame. Someone should clean it up and put up some no littering signs.
If You ever get back to Jefferson and do some dump digging let me know man
We used to shoot every bottle we came across that's why some bottles are rare 😎
Vicks cough syrup bottle.
Thanks for the ID of the bottle. More videos on the way!
With the creek bottom being bedrock, that would allow rocks to roll and tumble with high waters in storms. Most of the damage could be from rolling rocks in flood waters. If y'all are getting the remanents of the storms rolling across Texas, they only got worse in your neck of the woods.
With welts that big and that many, I would suggest you take a benadryl and go to bed.
I suggest you go to a thrift store and buy a long sleeve shirt that is two sizes too big for you, as your mosquito gear. With a loose fitting shirt, they can't get to your skin.
With my allergies I can't use bug spray, but I do have good results with a combo of Peppermint oil and Eucalyptus oils in a little spray bottle with added water. Ten or twelve drops of each with 6-8 oz of water. Spritz this on your clothing, not your skin. The peppermint can be irritating to skin. You do have to respray several times in a day.
These are both strong aromatics that NO bugs can tolerate. They are like mustard gas for bugs.
I look foward to your upcoming videos. Peace be with you, Brother.
Thank you! I'll definitely try the peppermint and eucalyptus oil spray. I appreciate your support, I'll keep the videos coming!
Dadgum!
Thanks for watching!
broken top are most likely from a sling shot ammo hitting them as they bobbed along
that's interesting. Hard to say, I think someone recently broke all the bottle tops, they are very fresh breaks on the glass since it's still shiny.
You might find anything in that creek but with all the garbage you probably won't find spawning fish....what a gross place, very sad! Maybe you can find some locals to help you clean it up, what a great video that would make.
Oakdale, Minnesota
thanks for watching from minnesota!
Use coconut oil Natz and mosquitos hate it.
Thanks, I'll try that!
