It's their best album, as well as The Unquestionable Truth. People forget how supremely talented these mf's are because their less serious stuff is more popular.
There's a tape of LB playing the Blind intro in tulsa and fred growls "are you ready?" and when they stopped he said "well fuck you were not playing it"
Damn I was 8 years old when this happened. Didn't get into it until I was 12. Back then it was like "these adults are legends", now it's like "look at these kids, fucking legends".
I was at this show at 13. My mind was blown and instantly went to the merch booth and bought the cd. I remember playing in my 8th grade classroom on a chill day when the teachers let us play our own music. This was before “Faith” or “Counterfeit” were getting any airplay. Almost everyone loved it when they heard it and then like a year later they blew up and it all made sense.
I saw limp bizkit at the boathouse in Virginia Beach in the fall of 97. I had the flu. It hit me as soon as i walked in with my friend. He rolled a joint and left it in the bathroom. We took turns smoking it in the stall. I began to feel even worse and leaned against a wall that had wheels on it. The wall moved and bumped into a bunch of people backstage. I scurried away and sat on the floor, sick as hell, while limp bizkit played as loud as humanly possible.😂.
I wasn't even thought of yet when this happened, but many years later at age 23 I got to see Limp Bizkit with my father who got me into them! They put on an amazing show still!
97 and 98, LB was fantastic. They were great in 99 too. They got shitty in the early 2000's. There was hope when The Unquestionable Truth came out. Gold Cobra was half great too. I think Significant Other was okay, and Chocolate Starfish was awful. Results May Vary was a great album amidst there ups and downs. Lot of solid songs on that album.
I always have mixed feelings about chocolate starfish, like it has the heavy guitars that I really like but comparing it to significant other and three dollar bill y'all, it's not as good.
LOL, Limp Bizkit on the Warped Tour. Makes as much sense as Katy Perry did about a decade later. Makes you wonder what the organizers were thinking back then....

I don’t give a fuck, that first album was a banger.

Saw them again yesterday. Not the same without Sam.
Hayebreed full live this fest ?)
I'm gonna be "that guy". This wasn't Warped Tour, which was 2 days earlier in Jacksonville. This was likely a side gig.
Are you being serious? If so, you’re definitely wrong. This is Warped Tour, in Orlando.
It was Warped Tour in the Tsunami Theater parking lot which was in a strip mall. I was there. Pennywise had a massive circle pit at that show…
You’re “that guy” alright…

@@djdedeo0 why do u say that
@@Sc00byg00ky Warped Tour was more for punk type bands. LB is a strange fit.
