9:42. Just thought I would say that the Hide and Seek game isn't unbalanced. Casey could see the pointers but doesn't know when the three press A to confirm their hiding spot
Yeah when pressing A , it doesn’t make a sound but it registers the input of where to hide. It’s similar to hide and sneak (from Mario Party 3), I guess.
Aye, it's not Unbalanced, but it is a bit poorly designed. One or two of the hiding spots, like the bouncy horses, don't disguise your miis at all, so hiding there's a throwaway.
@@MarkoIronFistThere is actually an strategy to the visible spot. The seeker can see whether there are miis hiding there or not, so he/she won't waste a turn looking there if no one chose it. When you do the calculation, is actually easier to find three people hiding in six possible places with five attempts than it is to find two people hiding in six possible places in four attempts. So the best thing the team can do is this: One of the players hides in the visible spot, and the rest in whichever other.
Wii Party is criminally underrated! The modes are unique yet engaging, and the minigames are top-notch. I've played this game so many times, that I can win every minigame against Master CPUs without much trouble. Glad to see you guys play this (and eventually Wii Party U).
9:12 the point is that you can see the pointer, you need to confuse the seeker where you are hiding by like pointing at different objects but not clicking to hide
Dislike me all you want, this is better than Mario Party Edit: Also, the way the hide-and-seek game is meant to work is you select a location with A, and then you mix up the seeker with the pointer.
@@kevyjoe413 I don't remember most by name lols, thanks for clearing that up (I knew one of them had good mini games because of all those compilation videos I watched way back then)
For the Hide n' Seek minigame, it's one of the few minigames that requires having Wii remote rumble turned on. This is because, when the Hiders press the A button on their desired hiding spot, the wii remote will rumble/vibrate to confirm a Hider's hiding place has been selected
1:32 Okay I’ll summarize it: Pretty much you play a minigame before the turn, instead of after it, the prizes for the mini games aren’t coins but a bonus die for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The golden die for first has all six numbers, the silver die for second I think has up to four, and the bronze die for third has up to three. As for Last Place, they get nothing!
Sadly we probably won't see them suffer vs Wii Party U master CPUs like Poofesure has. On the plus side, I'd love to see more people suffer against the ostrich.
YES YES YES. I already left a big ol comment on the post for the announcement for this but long story short I've loved this game since I was 4 and played it with my brother and my cousin for the last 10 years. Its so great and can't wait to watch this and to everyone at sidequest that may read this... I am begging u to make more videos on this game
I really appreciate your listening to our recommendations More videos of these games are welcomed There's also different modes in this game. One of them is hiding your wii remote which sounds fun for a video
PLay wii party U highway rollers is better than a lot of mario party games tbh such a good board. Also, globe trot from this game is fun as well more like regular mario party
YAYYYY WII PARTY!!! So happy you guys played this!! This was my childhood, my little brother was weirdly amazing at it lol (especially Rope Sling. have fun trying to get 181 yd)
Hide and peek , if you don't choose a spot you end up on the horses and the mii is visible there, also on board game island if you're in the volcano try and get a four ;)
I loved Wii Party so much when I was a younger kid! I used with my older sister and my cousin. It’s funnier to play when you have to use broken communication since I was struggling to speak in Japanese and my cousin was struggling to speak in English. A lot of incoherent English sentences, incoherent Japanese sentences, and my older sister trying to help us both. Good times. ☺️ My favorite game when I was little was actually board game island. To me personally I think Wii Party U is the superior game and I feel like y’all would enjoy it more. I like how a lot of people know this game because of Poofesure. I won’t lie I watched his videos on it too. 😂
I have heard of Wii party- This one guy called Poofesure has made over 100 episodes on it where he screams, rages, and smashes wii remotes in anger-
True
Oh yeah lols
I watch him a lot. He’s hilarious 😂
So many Wii controllers being oblitarated by his anger. Mario Kart Wii didnt help to save them either 😂
imagine him collabing with sidequest
I like that they're getting mad at not understanding the hide & seek game.
Maybe adding a CPU would help them understand the games
I know right! There missing the entire point of the game.
@@D.E.2656Exactly! The CPU knows how to play it right.

with the 1 vs 3 hide minigame, the thing is about moving your pointer around all the time and to make others believe you hid on another place
Man Wii Party was an actual god damn blast! I spent so many hours playing World tour!
Global Trot? That’s the next video 😎
@@SidequestParty hell yea amazing! It has a Different Name in german so I just used the rough translation. Honestly hyped for that one already.
Somehow I never played that mode, even tho this game was my whole childhood
By the way, the main strategy of hide and seek is that you can change your decision afterwards
none of us understood that lol
Also, never hide or pick the middle one (it's possible to see the players for the seeker)
@@legendarygreen-hero359but I’m pretty sure that’s also a strategy, sacrificing yourself to waste a pick

"Final Challenge"
Tiny: *beats the challenge*
Tom: "Is there more?"
The Casey Beatdown in the beginning and the comeback at the end was like a Square Enix Story.
tell me about it
8:03-8:46 That whole jungle rope game segment was one of the funniest things I seen on this channel in a while XD
I distinctly remember the fact you could swing backwards on that mini-game like Swinging With Sharks from Mario Party 3
Now we gotta see how far back we can go.
THE NOSTALGIA IS KICKING IN FOLKS!
20:30 questionable response from Casey. this is why he's my favourite lmao.
I didn’t even hear that the first time I watched that holy

I AGREE!!
Even if it were possible, do you know how much they'd have to censor? Lol

Yeah! I was rooting for Casey the whole time as usual! He seems like the underdog and I relate to him too haha
Casey filled in for Vernias in terms of luck, and still came out on top in the end.
8:15 In all my years watching Wii Play TAS’s, I have never seen anyone do that!😂
Megan!😂
Tom walking RIGHT off the platform had me in tears lol
Honestly I would love to see a Sidequest Wii Party Collab with Poofesure!
I love Wii Party! I hope the Party Crashers play this
Agreed
17:09 That's definitely the same chime sound effect used for midday in the Pikmin series.
Poofesure would be beside himself right now
