  • The Anycubic Vyper is an amazing 3D Printer but I really wanted to add some extra features to it like a screen cover, a cable chain, a camera tripod for timelapses and some slot covers for the aluminium profiles!
    Here you'll find all the links of the upgrades:
    - Screen Cover: www.thingiverse.com/thing:502...
    - ChainLink: www.thingiverse.com/thing:493...
    - Camera Tripod: www.thingiverse.com/thing:521...

    - Slot Cover: www.thingiverse.com/thing:517...
    Link to free Cura Profiles: www.thingiverse.com/thing:524...
    Via the link (on Thingiverse) you can download all the profiles + the test owl I got with my Anycubic Vyper. (I made the profiles in Cura 4.7)

    Hello i got a quick question For the heatbed clip does it clip right on or do i have to do anything to the bed for it to connect

    • @Creative_3DPrinting
      @Creative_3DPrinting  ปีที่แล้ว

      Heatbed clip? What do you exactly mean?

    • @MIKE-ny2td
      @MIKE-ny2td ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Creative_3DPrinting its called bed cable on the stl its the part you print that connects to the heatbed where the wire is

    • @Creative_3DPrinting
      @Creative_3DPrinting  ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay, with my vyper I only printed the parts for the hotend to extruder cable, I didn't print the other cable to the bed..
      But I think you can just click the part onto the cable clip pf the bed...

    hi and ty for this profil petg i want print solide item and waterproof this will work fine or i only change infill and motif like gyroide ? ty :)

    • @Creative_3DPrinting
      @Creative_3DPrinting  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think adding more under and upperlayers and more perimeters is better to make something waterproof.
      Changing infill and pattern will not make a difference.
      Thanks a lot for using my profiles :)

    Tanks a PLA bucket load. I always like thingsamabob that make my watchamacallits work better, even though I never knew I needed them. Found this as I was looking for doohickees that would help me better learn on how to use and maybe upgrade on my Vyper (since someone somewhere was talking about a bad ass firmware for the Vyper, by one of those walking dead StudioZombie 3D), as I am totally new to all this and tired of always scratching my head (which ends up giving anyone a bald spot).
    In the beginning (which was always how Monty Python started things, or more so for Fairy Tales, as they always start with "once upon a time") it was always, profile (???) what do you mean profile, doesn't my Vyper know what it is supposed to do in this so called slicer (I already know how to dice and cube in cooking), why do I need to know what a darn profile is (looks at profile in mirror confused and cries)? Then I start reading about Gcode (??? whaaat), why do I need to know about M503 or M500, or...., or why do you talk about linear advance and extrusion speed (is that some hidden 3D speak about advance pick up lines and sex?)? Gee all this code stuff makes me scratch my head and you know what happens, then. I so need an online book "3D printing for dummer and dummies with bald spots", or " How to Translate Themsthere 3D Printing Folks Online Videos & Sites for Dummies With Bald Spots".
    Yet, I have to say, these all look useful to have. For instance, I was wondering about setting up maybe my action camera or the little itty bitty USB camera that connects to my Alexa, and no one likes crumbs falling into small spaces, those darn PLA crumbs get out, and why keep dusting (or again on those damn PLA crumbs) that screen when a cover is great, and finally, heck who doesn't like some spanking and BDSM (cough cough amongst adults), so my baby Vyper I am making you some chain link in black and red to slip over your big thick and long.... wait a moment, never mind, not finishing that last part, so not my thingamaverse as I don't chain swing that way.
    What would be grand, is a filament holder that would sit at the top of the Vyper and not the side, making it easy to enclose this printer if need be. As I checked some ready made and they all have the height clearance but not the side. Though, someone somewhere would say, go make a hole on the side of those ready made Creality enclosures, but I want it to be on top damn it (it's a dude thing, once again, scratches head and sighs).
    You deserve and get a like and sub.
    Cheers

      First of all: Thanks a lot for your awesome comment!
      For your question of the filament spool holder, I just really like that the spool holder is on the side and that's because if you have like for example a 1Kg PLA spool at the top of your printer, your printer is going to vibrate a lot and so your layers will be less good... When the 1Kg spool is on the side on your desk the printer can print without those vibrations and you'll get a cleaner print (I guess, that's what you want).
      But if you want to build an enclosure for it, maybe you can put the spool (and holder) sideways on the side (like if you turn it 90°) so the surface is smaller. (If you know what I mean) ;-)
      And thanks a lot for the sub and like :)

    So, outside of the "cable chain", none of this are needed or improve functionality in any way.

      Yes, that's correct but in my opinion, those slot covers are usefull so otherwhise there are always filament rests in the slots...
