Polish fire departament is our national proud. Our firefighters always helps around the world when they asked for help. We are very glad that we could help Sweden.
this was actually an operation from the European Response Emergency Center, involving lithuanians, germans, danish, polish (firefighters alone were almost 400, helicopters, vehicles etc) etc. we Europeans are now even sending firefighters to south america etc and EU has also now managed to increase the number of firefighting airplanes

It doesn't matter, this is a convoy, mo matther what kind of a convoy military, or other the assistance of police is crucial to keep the convoy running smoothly and not breaking apart, or getting split by a passover cars, not mentioning the police cuting traffic on crossroads etc when the whole convoy is allowed to cross them at once.

They had a police escort because in some places there were pepole throing rocks at the firetrucks
