Yeah, and actually, as I am reading through the comments, I have tears in my eyes. I do understand that it is easy to watch someone on the Internet and pass judgement. And I do get that perception is reality, for some people. But no one ever knows the things that people are battling with that are unspoken. People also only know what we show. So, I hated to have to provide those examples, because what I do is not for boasting. My heart is pure, and that is all that matters. And that is a fact, not to be debated or co-signed by others. This is really awesome. I was in the hospital a few days ago and as I lay there I was still giving God the glory because of where he brought me from and where he's taking me too. I can identify with roaches in the pillow cases and also listening to the rats run across the floor while we were trying to sleep. And now I'm an educated black woman in a leadership role where I can be a positive influence to young men and women. Change is an awesome concept. If you don't change, you become stagnant and then you die because there is no growth. Going from carry my belongings in a plastic trash bag to being able to afford a full set of LV luggage is great because I give God the glory for every change that He brought me through. Continue to let God bless you and use you and do you!

It’s okay also to be enjoying your materialistic success and it’s also okay to be sharing your high end stuff without it being about encouraging anyone. You share whatever version of you at that point in time. Last year you were doing Amazon hauls, that’s where you were and where your life was. You were never required to explain yourself. You now do Fendi and Coach hauls and that’s where you are now. You’re still sharing your life and that’s all that it’s about. It doesn’t have to be deep.
Also, imagine never changing. How miserable life would be.
This is deep. What I love is that even though you don't agree with the assessment (neither do I), you still took a moment to assess yourself. I have experience this, with 2 "friends." One was projecting and the other said some mess similar to what this commenter mentioned. Bottom line is this you grew in one way or another. Also, you did what you had to until you could do what you wanted. I suggest they examine their personal biases and insecurities. THE END! I never get boastful from you. Since I’m in my 50’s, I see things a little differently. It’s possibly that to that viewer, the content has changed, not necessarily the person. As new doors open for you, of course things will be different. So then it is left up to the viewer to decide whether the influencer’s content is still for them or not. Yeah, it’s really sad because it doesn’t have to be that way. I just wish that we could support one another more and encourage people to keep on going. It’s sad that the success of someone else could manifest as a threat. I think, sometimes, “what would I have to do for people not to think this way?” But the fact is that I cannot control how other people think and behave. So I just have to stay in my lane and stay focused and keep on going.

I’m in my own season of a mindset shift and it has meant that I’ve had to reassess some of my relationships. Sadly, that has meant that I’ve created distance between myself and some people that I used to be in regular contact with. But, that’s OK with me because I know the direction that my God leads me and I don’t follow people, I follow HIM.

I can honestly say I love you my sister and I am so so very proud of you. Not one time I have ever taken it as you are bragging, flaunting, or showing off. I’m not the same person I was in my 20’s or 30’s. I found that ppl are more curious of how I move in life than trying to figure out how THEY CAN MOVE LIKE THAT. GOD IS GOOD AND HE WILL provide . I love life and i love good things. I work hard and if I want a Valentino purse I’ll buy it. I don’t flaunt the things I have but ppl are more envious of you than what you think. I’m humble because by the grace of God, he has provided. He showed me how to move through life and how to give . So if this person doesn’t share you views, growth pattern, then let it go. In other words if someone tries to tell you how to live or you moved faster than they did, these ppl have the problem not you. Stay blessed.
