ATtiny85 runing at 1 MHz. the Game is very slow not playable !
Please set the clock speed fuses on an ATtiny85 To 8MHz
When using an Arduino as a programmer
Configuring the ATtiny to run at 8 MHz
By default, the ATtiny’s run at 1 MHz. You can configure them to run at 8 MHz instead, which is useful for faster baud rates with the SoftwareSerial library or for faster computation in general. To do so, once you have the microcontroller connected, select “8 MHz (Internal)” from the Tools > Clock menu. (In Arduino 1.0.x, select the appropriate 8 MHz clock option from the main Tools > Board menu.) Warning: make sure you select “internal” not “external” or your microcontroller will stop working (until you connect an external clock to it). Then, run the “Burn Bootloader” command from the Tools menu. This configures the fuse bits of the microcontroller so it runs at 8 MHz. Note that the fuse bits keep their value until you explicitly change them, so you’ll only need to do this step once for each microcontroller. (Note this doesn’t actually burn a bootloader onto the board; you’ll still need to upload new programs by clicking on Arduino Upload button)

Great to see this lovely bit of hardware to run my games :) As Djamal.Uk mentions in the comments below - you need to pay attention to bootloader settings to make sure the clock frequency is correct (most of the games in my repo (linked above) are 8MHz, one is 16Mhz, but this is clear from the code header).
Happy to receive requests for any new games - it's about time I got coding again!

Hey can we upload program in those cheap digispark ATtiny85, desolder the attiny85 and then resolder it on my custom PCB?

BTW: I used a pull-up resitor of 100 kOhm for the PB5 (reset-port) it worked better for me.

Great, I was using your board ordering it from JLCPCB. That worked fine. I then uploaded the Space Invaders Code from www.tinyjoypad.com/home and adapted it to the match the rquirements: github.com/tscha70/ATTiny85-Playground - Thank you so much for your instructions!!!
