I watched the stream for a time and they made a noise It sounded Kinda... Idk hard to describe.. But it made me feel very uncomfortable and it was in a very bad quality like the camera footage, it didn't sound human at all More like a noise that could be Made by humans but not the mouth
That is probably a desert but tweaked to look grey because the earth would look bigger and less white from the moon. Also there are waves in the sand/dust but the moon doesn’t have wind to do that. The stream is that long probably because it is looped.
No this is real The earth looks like this because it's just your vision of the camera. Tje actual vision is a normal earth, far away from rhe moon. Exactly how the earth is viewed by the moon. Also, the wave sands are not wave and yes powder from the floor, coming up due to the camera movement.

If Neil Armstrong was left on the moon, how does he know TH-cam? And how the heck can he livestream there? We all know the technology from back then when Neil was said to have landed on the moon. Does that mean that NASA is delivering Neil some new techs and gadgets along with the supplies?

yes but the moon is also tidal locked with the earth. I would have to look this up to be certain but since the moon and a satellite would both be orbiting the planet they would both be travelling at the equivalent speed to be able to relay a signal well enough to send data. The "live" stream would actually be a bit delayed but we were able to communicate via radio waves to the moon landings. The "signal" is nothing more than radio waves.
The Earth is in different places depending on when you watch, sometimes it's not there at all but the Horizon doesn't move, since the Moon is tidally locked to Earth it would always be in the exact same point in the sky when looking up from the Moon. It's probably some guy's 3D animation on loop.
It didn't. It's just some dude in a desert with a camera that filmed a couple hours of footage and streamed it on loop. It would be virtually impossible for any government or organization to send a manned craft to the moon without it being public knowledge. The amount of cooperation that level of secrecy would require between every single world govt (even those hostile to each other) is ludicrous. Not to mention that it could easily be seen or detected by the average person with access to simple radar or a telescope.

Actually the moon is a planet... 🤣 More specifically, it's a dwarf planet. When the moon impacted with the earth millions of years ago, the sheer force of the impact threw up the majority of the planet's mass, which eventually settled due to gravitational forces and over time coalesced into what became the moon xD

Boi. correctly said. The impact hypothesis with the protoplanet Theia is a hypothesis not a theory that has enough evidence. It could have been the protoplanetary collision with the earth a few billion years ago, but more and more astronomers doubt that. There are different hypothesis like the natural nuclear reactor explosion etc. Please don't spread wrong facts, even though you meant it well
Unlikely, - If stream is played on 0.25x speed, you can hear the "static" audio clearly looping, which tells me the video probably is as well. - It's likely that it's just somebody that produced a couple of clips (whether by recording desert shots with low exposure, adding grain and other effects, or by making the whole thing CG) and is looping them on a software like OBS, playing random audio clips or different video clips where movement is visible at random to create the illusion that it's real and that someone is controlling the camera. - Certain clips show "space" for a second while the exposure resets, making "space" look really bright for a second. So if the exposure was turned down low, the darkness of space would never appear that bright, while the "moon surface" seemed normal. Meaning it probably isn't space, but rather the sky during full day. - One clip of the stream actually showed the entire video out of frame for a second, revealing a black bar behind it, like if someone was moving the video around on OBS, and dragged it out too far (additional info) - the person who brought this to the attention on the discord seemed to know a lot about this seemingly "random" stream, such as the translation, and the original pitching of the idea, but has been real quiet after first mentioning it. my guess is that this person is likely the person behind the stream. if this is the case it would make sense why the channel was streaming with seemingly no "advertising" as all the clout needed would come if there was a video made on it. but this last bit isn't relying on anything, just my personal thoughts but it's at least commendable for it's commitment to the bit, having to stream straight for days at a time
The name literally has the word “mission” and then a part of the moon identical to the moon simulations, the camera is not the best quality but I mean possibly yeah

The surface is incredibly bright, but the sky is pitch black, which its on the moon during its day. From my knowledge theres no place on earth like that

I've seen way too many comments that actually think this is from the moon, not that that kind of mission would even be remotely possible to carry out in the first place without it being public knowledge.
My first thoughts when watching this have lead me to believe that the person filming this is on Earth, and the object shown in the sky, is the moon. There is a way we can find out for sure though, and I will need someone much smarter than I to do it for me. The method in question is to first find out the apparent size of the moon from the perspective of Earth. Now, using the knowledge of the real size of the moon and the distance between it and Earth, we can, in a way, reverse engineer that method and find out what the apparent size of the Earth is, from the perspective of the moon. We must then compare the apparent size of the object in the stream to the two figures we have found: the apparent size of the Earth from the moon, and the apparent size of the moon from Earth. Using these comparisons, we should find what is going on here. P.S: if the results do come back suggesting that he is actually on the moon, then he is simply a good editor. Hopefully this comment is found, and if it isn’t, I will post all of this to the discord, where hopefully there is indeed someone much smarter than myself that can figure this out.

A landing module would have to be pretty large to have all the necessary supplies on board. And that's not even mentioning the toilet. I’ve got a theory. This could be broadcasted from either poles. Because (I think) they only get 6 months of sunlight and for the rest of the year it is just in pure darkness. This could be a possibility. And when the livestream showed the ‘earth’, it could be the moon. And the person that is live-streaming could have just recreated the ‘moons’ surface. This is just my theory and it may not be right.

The fact that this is across multiple languages leads me to theorize that a defector from either china or an english speaking country is streaming out their feed to the other country. It being on youtube allows them to deny being a spy and say that they were just looking for internet fame, leading to jail time or being fired as opposed to being executed. It also explains why they’re able to stream: the streamer isn’t the one on the moon they’re at mission control and streaming out the feed. It’s unlikely but it makes more sense than other theories imo.
Sol is used in english a ton too, just on more technical stuff. I don't think anyone doesn't know "Sol" represents "sun", given how "solar" is such a common word.

Actually the moon is a planet... 🤣 More specifically, it's a dwarf planet. When the moon impacted with the earth millions of years ago, the sheer force of the impact threw up the majority of the planet's mass, which eventually settled due to gravitational forces and over time coalesced into what became the moon xD

The impact hypothesis with the protoplanet Theia is a hypothesis not a theory that has enough evidence. It could have been the protoplanetary collision with the earth a few billion years ago, but more and more astronomers doubt that. There are different hypothesis like the natural nuclear reactor explosion etc.

Unlikely,
- If stream is played on 0.25x speed, you can hear the "static" audio clearly looping, which tells me the video probably is as well.
- It's likely that it's just somebody that produced a couple of clips (whether by recording desert shots with low exposure, adding grain and other effects, or by making the whole thing CG) and is looping them on a software like OBS, playing random audio clips or different video clips where movement is visible at random to create the illusion that it's real and that someone is controlling the camera.
- Certain clips show "space" for a second while the exposure resets, making "space" look really bright for a second. So if the exposure was turned down low, the darkness of space would never appear that bright, while the "moon surface" seemed normal. Meaning it probably isn't space, but rather the sky during full day.
- One clip of the stream actually showed the entire video out of frame for a second, revealing a black bar behind it, like if someone was moving the video around on OBS, and dragged it out too far

- the person who brought this to the attention on the discord seemed to know a lot about this seemingly "random" stream, such as the translation, and the original pitching of the idea, but has been real quiet after first mentioning it. my guess is that this person is likely the person behind the stream. if this is the case it would make sense why the channel was streaming with seemingly no "advertising" as all the clout needed would come if there was a video made on it. but this last bit isn't relying on anything, just my personal thoughts
but it's at least commendable for it's commitment to the bit, having to stream straight for days at a time

My first thoughts when watching this have lead me to believe that the person filming this is on Earth, and the object shown in the sky, is the moon.
There is a way we can find out for sure though, and I will need someone much smarter than I to do it for me. The method in question is to first find out the apparent size of the moon from the perspective of Earth. Now, using the knowledge of the real size of the moon and the distance between it and Earth, we can, in a way, reverse engineer that method and find out what the apparent size of the Earth is, from the perspective of the moon. We must then compare the apparent size of the object in the stream to the two figures we have found: the apparent size of the Earth from the moon, and the apparent size of the moon from Earth. Using these comparisons, we should find what is going on here.
P.S: if the results do come back suggesting that he is actually on the moon, then he is simply a good editor. Hopefully this comment is found, and if it isn’t, I will post all of this to the discord, where hopefully there is indeed someone much smarter than myself that can figure this out.

@@Cheese4202000 Also what about the massive supply of air you'd need to breathe while live streaming for a week? And basic necessities such as food, drink and a place to sleep? A landing module would have to be pretty large to have all the necessary supplies on board. And that's not even mentioning the toilet. And also the fact that moon dust is sharp af and sticks to things and interferes with systems.

I’ve got a theory. This could be broadcasted from either poles. Because (I think) they only get 6 months of sunlight and for the rest of the year it is just in pure darkness. This could be a possibility. And when the livestream showed the ‘earth’, it could be the moon. And the person that is live-streaming could have just recreated the ‘moons’ surface. This is just my theory and it may not be right.

The fact that this is across multiple languages leads me to theorize that a defector from either china or an english speaking country is streaming out their feed to the other country. It being on youtube allows them to deny being a spy and say that they were just looking for internet fame, leading to jail time or being fired as opposed to being executed. It also explains why they’re able to stream: the streamer isn’t the one on the moon they’re at mission control and streaming out the feed. It’s unlikely but it makes more sense than other theories imo.

Sol is also an other name for sun.
