- oh my gOD ITS FINALLY DONE!!
i started this in late december/very beginning of January over winter break. I'd heard this song and was like "i wanna do an animatic to that." problem was- the song was- as you can tell- heavily pirate themed. So instead of just moving on like a normal person, I made an entire AU for this one animatic! It was a lot of on and off work because of school and overall lack of motivation, and had it been any other project I would have just dropped it- but I'd already made the au and was committed to the idea so I kept going. this was such a hefty project but I'm pretty happy with the end result, so- i hope you all like it! :]
Video Warnings: Blood, loss of limbs (just an arm), character death, mild flash warning/fast camera movement, and ofc just general angst

Oh my god this HURTS SO GOOD. I love pirate AUs of anything but I didn’t expect one of the turtles to be this amazingly angsty! My smile just slowly dropped during the video until the very end when I literally just kept going “NOOO, STOP, NO” out loud absjaf this is fantastic and hurts and you did such a good job with it.
Words cannot explain how excited I am I'm only looking at the thumbnail right now I may have not watched it yet but I can already tell it's a masterpiece.

@@thedoodlebug thank you! I thought of it on the spot because I think it’d be good to have a royalty themed name because they might be well known or popular pirates.
I love this concept so much. They might be like, a magical legend as such in peoples eyes, but are really four turtle guys with hamato powers and color themed clothes.

I had no idea what to expect-- at first i was like 'aw such a cute story look at them all cute and happy! and then the scene with raph happened and out loud i shouted WHAT and it all went downhill (/uphill omigod) from there XD i thought he'd be the only one but then DONNIE??? and finally i realized it was a bad future timeline-- but not knowing that in advance gave me such a sweet shock factor XD XD
