Always had connectivity issues but not being able to access servers is definitely a new one
Yea crazy, all server pings were over 1000.
This wouldn't have happened if you could host independently from Bohemia servers... Most of the fault is on the studio's approach on how server hosting must work. Literally the cancer of modern gaming.
Yea they should have thought of this a long time ago. Them knowing the influx of players that were going to play this game and the possible server problems that they would have come across.
These types of problems should have been talked about in Bohemia.
On Xbox I Can’t get into a game, or I get kicked out after 30 minutes of play. Also does the same thing to me in the helicopter, it puts me as the pilot, and shows the passenger seat view.
Yea that’s connectivity issues and the server is being fucked with. Happened when I got inside the tanks as well. Have you tried the community servers?

Don't own Arma reforger yet, only having played 3, its sucks to hear you reforger and dayz players are being affected by some losers doing a ddos attacks.
Heard about this while i was in the 420 delta server and someone brought it up in convo. Didn't think it was real at first.
Yea definitely happening man. All servers from official to community are being DDOSed to the max. Then it ended up going into Dayz and who knows where else it will go.
They sure are losers for doing this.
This is pathetic. Block all traffic from Russia until they can get a better cybersecurity team, or let people play without backend connection
Man I wish it was that easy to do. They definitely need a better cybersecurity team or security in general for the servers. This has been going on and off for like over a week. Have you been able to play or join servers?

I appreciate the info but, at 5:30 you say they are being extorted for money. The screenshot you show on X shows a message to the 'players' of Arma Reforger. Showing weakness in the netcode. And how quickly its being reinforced. How safe is your online data exactly?

Dude I heard that they began targeting the Dayz servers on consoles as well. Stupid, but I believe in them fixing it.
almost no one in the community is reporting this. just the usual suspects all on thier knees for bohemia. This isn't the first time. like every other problem in the game, this has been happening for years.
Sucks and they should be doing something about it instead of ignoring it.
I think it's now because arma has blown up since coming onto ps5 and going cross play, so there's a lot more players to disrupt and make Bohemia act expecting fast payout. I don't think Bohemia defenses are as good as other games as this hasn't happened to any of there previous games so they should improve it very soon. This has happened to loads of games such as cod, the ps5 network just got to wait is all
Yea man, the popularity of the game and the amount of players coming to play is great. It also brings along everyone’s opinions and if Bohemia pisses someone off then it could lead to this incident.
They should have made their defenses better once they were thinking of doing crossplay. This is all going to be a waiting game until it stops.
tbh once you get in the server its usually ok been on wcs ones for hours the past week without many issues in game its just joining is the problem
Man I haven’t tried this WCS servers at all. Always see the high waitlist so I don’t even bother. I’ve been playing KOTH and wasteland lately.

I tried them on console and the mods they have are pretty cool. Only problem is anytime you get into a close gunfight the fps drop to 10-20 fps and after like 500 meters, people and environment wont load in properly. So I cant really have close gunfights but also cant really snipe from long range. Feels like the console release of pubg all over again😂
AHHH man that feels like Arma 3 KOTH for me lol. once you get into the city and big warzone, the fps drops all crazy. man that's crazy that they allow mod support for consoles just so that you guys can join the servers and have fps issues lol.
Wonder if its the mods that give you the problems or something else. PUBG was a buggy mess at the beginning lol. I hope you still have fun with reforger even with these problems.
I struggle with Cptsd. I play Ylands. I have more than 10 000 hours in that game. I don't even like war games, I’m here for the news. i like to build homes. That people can live in peacefully and not fear for their lives. 😢 I like to explore and sail my ship named Sanctuary that i built with my own hands. around the maps, fishing and hunting for treasures. And i build worlds in the Editor. I haven't been able too since the 29th of January when these attacks reached us. 😭 feb 2nd was the last time i could get in at all. There are currently 9 lucky souls that were able to enter.

@@versko5705 I don't know, but it hit us hard. :( And we just got together as a team the last month to try and boost some interest and find more players. We were getting results too. And now i'm so sad that these new players are getting such a rough start :(
Dude that’s rough, that’s kinda like this game where all the new players are barely starting and now they can’t play. Hopefully the new players stick around and wait for all this DDOSing to end.

@@versko5705 Yes, I hope so too. What is so sad i that it had so much trouble the last 10 years. And it barely made it. But the last two years, we and the Devs pushed really hard to make it a great game. Then suddenly in December they removed our dev team, want to stop updates. And sent our team to work on other projects with larger
growth. Without even trying to promote the game. Except for pushing a broken version onto switch, That's why we have taken it on to ourselves to do it. Many among us really feel Ylands deserved better. It has become a very good pc game :) Hopefully they will be able to fix this soon so we can start over.

My random trio met in a community 5x server and have been building for the last 2 weeks when it shut down ughhh had 10 hummvees 3 trucks 5 cars and loot and an awesome base picked out. I hope it comes back online

Yeah been trying to get on for ages..I got on last night for about 20 mins and it crashed again...however the solo campaign isnt bad and I've got some practice flying helios so not all bad..I'm sure it will sort itself out..
I managed to play overnight for like 3 hours. Ended up getting kicked 1 time and I ended up having a hard time getting back in. I had to try multiple times along with resetting my game to get back in.
@@versko5705 yeah m8 I've kind of given up for a bit, im just hitting solos, which tbh is good, the a.i are really good(for me anyway) but I'm sure they will get it sorted, no hurry, I've just ordered a pizza, so its not all bad

Who knows but it seems like some console players are still having a hard time joining servers. So far on PC, I was able to join yesterday without any issues.

Nothing now, the servers are getting DDOSed now and it’s fucking with server connections. This is something that Bohemia has to fix. We gotta wait until then. I hope it’s fixed soon tho, stupid that this is happening.
