Hello, I bought the beholder ms1 in amazon recently. But it came with a defect, even with the batteries fully charged, it has a blinking red light. I live in Brazil, can you tell me if there is a technical assistance here? Thank you
I believe that will work. However, you should definitely take a look at the weight of that combination and make sure it fits within the weight limit (up to 1.9 pounds / 860 grams)
+ Ikan: I just brought this today, the specifications says the payload is 1000 grams not 860 grams. Also over two hours and it still will not balance, either it moves to the left or right. towards the back, the eyepiece holds the camera steady (which should be happen), too far forward, the camera tilts to the front. I have the Sony a6300 with PZ 18-105 mm F4 total mass = 830 grams
558g the lens + 358g the body of G7 = 916g so I guess not. The heavier ur "rig" the more the motors have to work and if its too heavy the cant stabilize the movements. You could buy a "pancake lens" like the Panasonic Lumix H-FS12032E-K 12-32mm its only 68g or familiar lenses But to be flexible I would rather recommand the DS1 (1.6 kg/ 3.7 pounds) or the Zhiyun Crane (up to 1,2 kg) Normally you should never go to the max support wheight of those Gimbals it just drains too much battery too fast, so after a while the motors dont get enough juice and begin to jitter when u move too fast or too sudden. If u go too light the motors are too strong and the whole thing goes crazy XD
Hello. I'm sorry you're having issues with the MS1. Here at Ikan we strive to provide our customers an enjoyable and successful experience with our gear, so I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. I checked all of our specs and they all say 860 grams. Was it an Ikan MS1 gimbal that you bought? If so, please contact support@ikancorp.com - we want all of our customers to have their gear running as best as possible! Please contact the support team and they will be able to better assist you.
What I dont like with this gimbal is more the fact that i cant look at my screen Most screens like the of the G7 u flip to the left side but thats exactly where the motor is so u cant do that The DS1 is big enough that u actually can flip the arms of the gimbal around so the motors are on the right side so I can flip the screen of the G7 so I can clearly see what I'm filming If u have a Panasonic GX85 I guess u dont have this issue with the screen
Ah just saw that u could make a rig and mount ur phone as an extra monitor (1/4 inch screw at the bottom of the grip) and an external mic but I dont really like this idea. Because it gets bulky as hell. The idea of an compact handheld gimbal is.... thats it compact xD. Maybe I had to do something for myself so that I could mount the phone right next to the grip above my hand.. like other smaller gimbals have like the osmo from dji
You're right, the MS1 has the motor on the left where you can't flip your screen out, but the DS1 has the motor on the right side so you can do just that - flip out the screen. Keep an eye out for an even better gimbal coming soon. Check out the teaser video for the EC1!

Hi there Gabriel. Unfortunately, we don't have technical support in Brazil. For further assistance, please contact support@ikancorp.com
Will the Panasonic G7 with the Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 work with this?
