@@Our__Earth Thank you for responding, your video was very helpful! I am looking for lidar data classified for buildings. The meta data for the USGS lidar program does not have a building classification. I wonder if municipalities need to buy this level a classification? I also looked on the nationalmap.gov as well. Thank you again
This is misleading. The 'ready to use tools' in Analysis do NOT use your imported LiDAR data. Instead they use elevation data from the cloud. This is why your 'trace downstream' continues Bahia California instead of being limited to your raster. Your elevation profile is not of lidar data (too smooth) but of 10m USGS NED data. Check the attribute table for your 'output profile' line for the data source. Please revise to avoid confusion. I don't aim to criticize but just keep things accurate for the viewer.
Best resource I have found for analyzing Lidar data in Pro. Thanks so much for posting!
Thanks so much! I love using Lidar data.

the USGS data does not offer building classification?
Hi Paige - you might be able to find some building data on nationalmap.gov if that is what you mean.
