it never fails to amaze me how creative and patient the fallout 4 settlement building community is. this kind of beautiful and natural looking town is what i aspire to make every time i create a settlement, but i can never make it look quite so organic, and give up. mad respect to you.
what a good construction to represent the world of Fallout 4 I liked the insertion of existing buildings with your vanilla extensions it's great thank you my friend for your sharing😊❤
Just started building here today. It was great finding out I was able to fix the sagging portches ( repaired one, at least). Playing in Survival mode and just as I prefer to be challanged in the game, I do not want to use any mods, as well. Part of the fun is figuring it out. Well done here.
i really really enjoyed this settlement in particular just because of how clever you were with the things like the giant wind turbine. great work! i can't wait to see what's next. (hoping for Nordhagen Beach being an option!)

Must admit I am also not a fan of the concrete ‘box fort’ look. Some people can make it work and look good, but I have never been very good at using the concrete pieces 😉🤣.

Thanks! Sadly Prof Goodfeels appears to have bugged out in my game and disappeared from the settlement even though I never interacted with his terminal 😔. It’s a little hard to see in the tour but there’s a bunch of Mr Handy parts on the cabinet by the terminal in the main barn, wanted to give the impression a settler had found a Mr Handy kit and was trying to rebuild him.

I wish there was some clever method I could say I use to plan my builds, but really its just throwing pieces together and seeing what works. Sometimes this works out great but usually I end up tearing down and rebuilding most structures multiple times until I end up with something that I feel looks right, and in some cases have even totally scrapped and restarted builds halfway through. Although I do drink vast quantities of tea while planning and building… so it could be that 😉🤣

I dont use a mod but do reset the build limit using the weapon storage glitch. I prefer to use this method rather than a mod or console commands so I can keep track of how large the build is, as I like to keep my builds within 3-4 full resets to hopefully make sure they can run and be used at a decent frame rate. When building junk walls especially when long stretches are needed, I find adding structures into the walls helps break them up and reduce the number of pieces I need to place. Adding other pieces such as warehouse or metal walls can also help break up the junk walls and help make them look a little more visually interesting 👍 For my build at Starlight I needed to make some pretty long junk walls, and this might help give you a few ideas: th-cam.com/video/ah77-0DY0cQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=id37Us9eEdUvWoYW&t=395
Yes Sunshine Tidings is a happy, safe, quiet settlement that certainly does not have dark secrets… Just don’t eat any of the strange meat when offered by its settlers or ask too many questions about any alleged hidden basements. 😉🤣

Uuuh I love Nordhagen, great place to build! But I hate Warwick Homestead and Croup Manor I can't wait to see what he does with those.

I LOVE the wasteland scrap look so much more than when people just make concrete fortresses. Making me want to reinstall fallout!

Yes, I hope to eventually do one of these vanilla style builds at each location including all the DLC’s 👍.

Yes, the plan is move on to more modded builds once I have done one of these vanilla styled builds at each location 👍😄.
