Now this is right up our alley! Best time to see the wildlife is the mornings or evenings. I enjoyed this video so much. What a treat to see Momma bear playing with her cubs. Most of the time she is so busy smelling & on alert for danger she can’t afford to relax. Just like the big guy/girl you seen earlier on Hyatt Road who was smelling all around the field & road. They are on alert most of the time. I could watch those bears everyday of the week & twice on Sunday if the Good Lord is willing! I never knew how passionate I could become photographing those beautiful animals. Thank you so much for sharing Cade’s Cove on bikes with us! 🙏
That would be a great way to see all the beauty of Cades Cove! No cars, just quiet and breathtaking views! Electric bikes would make it even better. My sister and I found the Pearl Harbor tree last year. It’s always the highlight of our trip to see a bear. Those last four were so cute! What great memories with your daughter. ❤️
Animals are my favorite especially the Deer, Wild Turkey, and the Bears. I love Cades Cove and the Smoky Mountains National Park. Everyone who lives in Tennessee is very blessed including me and my Mother. ☺️💖 This is an awesome video.
Absolutely love these videos ❤🙏. Just visited Cades cove with my family in late September. The trees 🌲 had just started to get bits of color. And we even seen that Momma bear and 3 cubs 💕 Oh what the Lord has made and He thinks of us 🙏
You know, through my eyes, it just does not get any better than that! Looks like you went later in the day & had two great bear experiences…..when you can have a non invasive, up close experience like that one on Hyatt you are just at the right place at the right time….we live for those moments & have had our fair share of them; always a Blessing….and the cub experience was right out in the open where you could really see those little guys….man there just can be nothing in town that can possibly be better than that…..you are living the dream my brother in Christ….Amazing Grace it is…..Blessing well beyond anything we deserve but we have them to hold anyway….thanks for the ride🙏🏻
Oh & Ryan, one important detail here….late evening rides require very intense bear watching efforts so it is ok to have your ice cream before to “fuel” the evening’s efforts!😆
@@AdventureIsOutThere Longing to be in the Smokies, but aiming to serve Christ faithfully here in FL. Your videos help us enjoy the area when we can’t be there. It’s a blessing to see you all enjoy it as a family. Praying for you all today. Rom 12:1-2
Thank you so much for sharing this. My paternal grandmother was Lydia Lawson, an original settler in Cades Cove. Dan Lawson was my paternal great grandfather. (Yes, that is his cabin in the Cove ). The peak time for leaves 🍁 turning used to be around the end of Oct, first week of Nov. This video is extra special as you made the Loop with your daughter. I feel like my Dad (a WW2 Vet 💜) is with me in spirit even more so after seeing this. 🙏🏼
Great video. I'm hoping to get to bike the loop maybe next year. Great to see you and Abby having a great time together. You're a great dad. And of course bree is a great mom. It's good to see yall always spend positive quality time with the kids.. God bless yall
Thanks Sandi…I am far from a perfect dad, but have a perfect Heavenly Father to model after! Hopefully you can bike Cades cove next year (we wish they would extend the vehicle free Wednesdays)!
Oh I loved seeing the black bears! They are so cute!! My family and I will be there next week so it's good to see that the fall leaves are starting to turn! We will be going to Cades Cove, however, I think we will try driving it. Thanks for all your videos!
We just returned from Gatlinburg and did Cades Cove for the third time, during our many visits. The beauty and nature are astounding!! It’s so exciting to see bears playing in all of that beauty!! You did an amazing job with your video!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I've been many times over the years. First time I went was back in the 80's there used to be 1,000's of DEER EVERYWHERE. Now I'm lucky if I see 10 in one day. WHERE did all the deer go? Some say they were eaten by bears. I'm sure bears did eat some, but that many? NOT LIKELY My guess is rangers & other folk ended up killing them off.
THANK YOU!! FOR SHOWING THE PEARL HARBOUR TREE. I will never get to come there and never knew it existed till now. My mothers first husband died at pearl harbour. They were married 2 weeks when he went in navy. Such a treat to see mama and her babies. Hope you werent as close as it looked
What a nice way to spend time together! The bears were so cute playing and it was encouraging to see some trees changing color. Praying that we see some color next week! 🙏
Ya'll so lucky Ya'll go to see a bear there. Me and my boyfriend and our friend went there but didn't see no bear. We was there in August during jeep invasion week. Didn't know anything about jeep invasion. We saw a lot beautiful jeeps. We took that tour too.😊❤.
We loved Cades Cove! We drove through twice while visiting last fall. We weren’t lucky enough to see a bear. But we did see lots of deer and turkeys. Can’t wait to come back to visit.
I biked this back in 1996. We left Tennessee Tech early, got to Cades Cove around 10 AM, and did the loop. We also hiked out to the falls as well half way. That was a killer for me in my cycling shoes (stiffer sole didn't give way when hiking..)
watching this i was thinking, hmm, wonder if the battery on my electric wheelchair would last 11 miles. lol. Beautiful ride and the bear cubs were great.
Ryan, thanks for sharing. I have never done the bike ride when I have been up there. It seems so peaceful and quiet without all the traffic and the "bear/wildlife" jams. Looks like you can enjoy it a lot more and relax this way. Also, I can never find where you pull over to walk to the Pearl Harbor tree. I miss it every time. Can you give me any suggestions so I won't miss it if I ever get back up that way? I saw the rock there but I seem to still miss it. There is also suppose to be a hidden pond, Gourdy Pond, I think it's called. I can't ever find it either. Do you know of any other areas where the leaves are changing? Or maybe you can do a fall foliage video. I sent you an email asking you about the fall foliage. I really enjoyed this video. Great job, as usual.👏👍👍
Thanks for sharing your ride with us. We’re going to be in the Gatlinburg area in two weeks, hoping for some nice fall color. I hope we can bring our e-bikes with us and bike the loop next year. It looked like a lot of fun. When’s the best time of year to see wildlife?
Takes me longer than 2 hours in my car. No way I could make it on a bike. Well maybe on an electric bike, but a regular bike I'd be passed out the first mile for sure.

This includes individuals or small groups that don’t use much equipment, but generate revenue by posting footage on websites, such as TH-cam and TikTok. @@PhilCaldwell-t7u it’s never been “illegal”. Some people have overreacted to poorly written language about when a permit is required. But hitting record on one’s cell phone in public has never been illegal.

We go over more details of no-vehicle Wednesday is like in this video: th-cam.com/video/Cr6pQm-xEr8/w-d-xo.html
Thank you.
Weird question but do you get cell service all the way out there?
I never do when I’m out there. Cades cove is 40 minutes into the national park, so there is little to no coverage.
No we don't get service inside the great smoky mountain national park.
What is the 11 mile trail like flat up hill down hill. Thanks
Here is another look at what Cades Cove Loop Road is like:

Takes me longer than 2 hours in my car. No way I could make it on a bike. Well maybe on an electric bike, but a regular bike I'd be passed out the first mile for sure.
Its illegal to film inside the park and post it to social media How are you getting away with this?
The 1st amendment would say otherwise. All national parks laws were followed while documenting a father-daughter bike ride on public land👍
I am glad to here it can be legal.I did not want to see you get into trouble. I love your videos!
