Mon dieu, Monserrat... Etais-tu un ange? Ta voix tombait-elle du paradis? As-tu rejoins tes confrères au Ciel?
T'entendre chanter nous transporte, ta voix est une bénédiction, elle me donne des frissons dans le dos... En tout cas, c'est tellement beau, tu as gravé mon coeur à jamais.
Puisses-tu reposer en paix.

Repose en paix Montserrat. Je n oublierai jamais le premier concert ou j ai ecoute le premier Chant de la Sybille et ta voix ample et magnifique. Ni ta simplicite lorsque j ai demande ton autographe sur le cd . Je suis tellement triste de ton depart meme s il nous reste ta voix.

Je me souviendrai longtemps de la première fois que j'ai entendu cette voix éthérée de Madame Figueras. C'était à Radio-Canada, en 1989, et on y jouait la magnifique interprétation du Cant de la Sibillla! J'en suis resté estomaqué et je suis tombé en amour avec la voix de Montserrat et la musique de M. Savall. Je suis resté un fidèle de leur musique depuis lors. Quelle grande perte pour la musique! Quelle voix nous avons perdue! Merci pour toutes ces belles années, Madame Figueras et M. Savall.
Montserrat, mon dieu, combien tu vas nous manquer. Quelle tristesse.
Bon voyage à toi dans l'au-delà. Merci pour tout ce que tu nous as apporté.

Je garde un souvenir lumineux de Montserrat au festival d'Etampes en 1978.
C'était pour moi la découverte de l'ensemble Hespérion XX et de la musique de la renaissance espagnole.
Depuis, à tous les moments heureux ou tristes, Montserrat, Jordi et leurs musiciens ont fait partie de ma vie.
Aujourd'hui, j'ai perdu une personne très chère et que je n'oublierai jamais.

i heard this in the radio one time, it was so beautiful i loved it, but the power was cut out just before the composer/singer was credited, so i only got the name. after then i searched really hard for it in the internet. after months and months, i have found it :') thank you

The Song of the Sibyl (Catalan: El Cant de la Sibil·la) is a liturgical drama and a Gregorian chant, the lyrics of which compose a prophecy describing the Apocalypse, which has been performed at some churches of Majorca and Alghero and some Catalan churches, in Catalan language on Christmas Eve nearly uninterruptedly since medieval times. It was declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO on November 16, 2010. … The author of The Song of the Sibyl is unknown. The prophecy was first recorded as an acrostic poem in Greek and later translated into Latin by Saint Augustine in The City of God. This time Francis, with his grace , humility, humanity and resolutness, His lowliness the Great and Fair enough to make a decision to stand by the lowest of us, human beings and animals.
And this song and this beautiful and blessed couple made him so. We the persons, pay tribute to Monserat Figueras as the Coupe. The Graal of that moment in time.
