I really like in this song. BF isn't throwing a ton of insults or swearing a lot. And actually singing along with Mommy Mearest. It's clear that while they are definitely arguing/disagreeing in this song, they are still being constructive in a way. This isn't like with Daddy Dearest where he just couldn't accept the fact that BF was with Girlfriend. Here, Mommy Mearest is still refusing the idea- but it isn't an outright impossibility. She's willing to, in a way, communicate and engage with Boyfriend. Which is levels beyond Daddy Dearest and I think part of the reason why Boyfriend is more restrained. Very enjoyable.

For those saying MM's voice is too high, that's how it is in all of her songs. She sings the higher notes, and BF sings the lower notes. They don't actually sing the same pitches, which is more apparent when they harmonize ( 0:26 ).
