no way to have 15kg drag capacity lol.Drag capacity is measured at certain angles most companies dont even write on the description.Most of the time dry drag capacity is measured at 45 angle and i assume this rod has probably 3-4kg at most.This is lifting ability of a standing still fish near shore at about 45 angle and it does not guarantee that the rod wont break. edit : dont get me wrong it is not a bad rod most rods in this lure weight range has similar drag capacity.
Yeah you have a point but nowadays in vertical and slow pitch jigging technique normally they use different specification, drag capacity or weight it can handle, and its applied to this rod as it is a shore jigging rod, you can find it normally on south east asian built rods, maybe for marketing strategy or just to help you find a proper reel that will match the specification of the rod, I have one video here its ecooda rod with 12kg of drag i tried it lifting 8L of water the rod held up pretty well
I have try 2 time landbase game , this rod better popper 50g+ and sinking minnow 50g+ , shore jig is 40 to 60g +- , rod very powerful but just a bit heavy hahaha
Hi, its not stated on the specs but its seems a regular fast, its not too stiff at the tip, normally jigging rod have special action compare to a normal rod, they are classified by power or how heavy the lure it can handle and not by action or how the rod bends, i tried to put pressure on it with a line tied to a table and it gives a good curve without any flat spot, 20-80g lures? Its freezing here in quebec, its not yet tested on water, but im pretty sure this stick can throw it like hell even more heavier than that, Thanks for stopping by and i hope it helps you a little, tight lines pish on
It depends on what fish your targeting and what lure youre going to throw with it, maybe start with medium :), you can cover more fish species with it, enjoy fishing :)

You might wanna go with the H if you wanna pair it with 6000 size, to have better weight balance, :)

Yeah you can probably use it but its not on the sweet spot, around 60g will be nice
