Hello and Welcome. My name is Donna. I thought it would be fun to create a sock gnome and show you how easy it is to transition it from Fall to Christmas. Let me know what you think!

Supplies:
-1 pair of socks
-small pebbles or rice
-fiberfill
-string or elastic ( I prefer string )
-Fall and Christmas embellishments
-wood bead or pompom
-faux fur or yarn or synthetic roving ( that's what I used, it's from a chunky yarn skein)
-scissors
-hot glue gun and glue sticks

I have watched other videos on how to make Gnomes but your creative way is by far the best I have seen. I love the arms and I don’t need to buy Faux fur for their beard. They get expensive! Thank you. Can you please make a female gnome for us!

I love everything and finally reveived my socks from Canada so i cant wait to make them. My only thought would be to leave the beard a little more raggedy and not so trimmed off, please dont take that as a criticism! 😯💕ps i love the gnome you sent Sher!

No, I totally agree on the beard 😉 I tried to but I had troubles, was pulling too many fibres out 😕 so I decided to leave it before there was no beard left 🤣 Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't for me 😩 the struggles of crafting 🤗

Might be better to use velcro for the embellishments so that the original sock doll doesn't fray over time from all the switching of seasons.

Yes, I can imagine they're fun to create. I want to make some, I just don't have all the things I need yet. (mainly socks, and Time away from other projects).. but I hope to make some, soon. =)
