To all you people who are concerned about bombers/raids....if you are playing in low tier lobbies where you don't have players properly tasked to deal with those issues, them trust me, you have time to make a few modifications by adding in a few T1 AA towers. You could add 3-5 minutes to the build timings in those lobbies and still be 10 minutes ahead of the average.
There is an option in advanced menu to actually show certain diameters all the time or on a keystroke! Helps tremendously in figuring out ranges from turrets of all sorts - helpful as frontline player as well!
I think its understood that part of the skill of being a Backline player is learning when you need to sacrifice sim city efficiency for staying alive and influencing the game, or "putting your foot on the brake" as the video puts it. Obviously, if your Frontline is getting porous enough to where you need to worry about getting hit, you need to stop playing sim city and start building units and defenses
Try this out, do a 8v8 game with barbarian ai on both sides and you. Then try and do an eco build with the goal of overflowing metal and energy enough that your team wins without you making units 😂
It's always neat to see strategies for optimizing eco and it is good practice after all for a real match... HOWEVER. It would ultimately be much better in combination with mixed guides. Even 1v1 vs AI set to all hover or all air, something like that. Show your audience how to react to a dynamic battlefield, and particularly how to balance eco ramping with staying alive. How to allocate time and resources to quickly and efficiently hold the line (by countering comps) while still reinvesting to ultimately outpace an opponent. How to pressure so that an opponent can't control 75% of the map while you build fusion.
I see you always like to queue a ton with your comm early and then swap his commands as you see fit. How do you do that so well without breaking the queue you have? Im not sure where to kook at what key combos you meed to do that?
To add something to the front of the queue, hold space while placing it (or clicking to assist) and it will start building (or assisting) and then switch back once complete to your queue.
Backline builds often do just die like that. They're way to reliant on the front line managing to stop literally everything and flame them for failing that. That's where going for safer builds helps like for instance the cortex version of this build you can slap in a twitcher which can quickly build you flame bots or aa. Other than that keep an eye on the frontline to see if you need to use your build power for defense
Uhh I was so into this game, but the devs are some of the most elitest assholes I've ever met. And the OS system is not at all tied with skill, new players coming in at 17 OS is absolutely bonkers.

Instant like for your work ethic, loving the amount of uploads mate!
Would love to see these tactics done in a real game environment, way more enjoyable to watch, although of course harder to present.
3:45 "there is basically this faint green circle".
Me: *zooms in on his phone on youtube*
How are we supposed to notice THAT!???
1:43 how did you maintain your shift queued wind mills while manually retargetting your commander to build the bot?
Hold space to add something to the FRONT of the queue.
Space
I will probably not get so far as my opponents have just mastered your 12 min nuke timing ! 😂
Just need to add in the realism of your wind getting hit by T1 bombers at the 5 minute mark no one tagged
would love when u start casting more games of BAR. The game is great to watch and your casting is always top notch no matter if AoE or BAR! :)

I can't find that option. Where is it and what is it called?
You at 20 min: has a god tier base
Me: mmh... i could start to work on a t2 factory
Guys struggling at the front: wtf are the backline doing 😂
@@armed_but_blind2768 just kill them as frontline. Ez game.
That sweet sweet feeling when you bust through to the backline and destroy a bunch of the backline 👌
God tier only with passive opponents. Any player with some skill will try to raid and even couple of pawns can kill everything in that base

what happens if you get a bunch of tech1 attack you early?

That would be a very interesting challenge :D
Drongo, we need you back at aoe4 cast😢
No anti-nuke in this build order? If so when you consider it should go?
Probably pause eco right after the first reactor. They don't cost too terribly much to build, and waiting for adv reactor is risking too long.
@@TheJBerg Thanks man!
Is it possible to ask for con bot from a teammate and go straight for plains? Just to get the blue prints faster on the spot? Is it metal officiant?
Wow this is a really tight build. I know you are minmaxing, so will be fun to see this getting executed in MP.
Hi Drongo where can I get this game . I looked on steam but not there . I only play age4 at the moment and would like to try Bar . Thanks
Great thanks ! would go for an anti nuke before the second afus tho
Please more casting. Seeing something like this in a game. Pros and cons
I was wondering, why not and not véhicule ? Veh would be way quicker in movement speed no ?
Yeah but are more expensive and don't have the reclaim bot which is crucial

this is definitely quite the speedy eco. however, hopefully someone else is selling t2 to your allies

I also would like to know how to add something into com queue without breaking it
To add something to the front of the queue, hold space while placing it (or clicking to assist) and it will start building (or assisting) and then switch back once complete to your queue.
You hold space while issuing the command and it will place it at the front of the queue without cancelling the rest.
@@cadorin4294 thanks bro

Drongo you going to make a front line strategy vid??
Man the wind loved you this run. Since you've done a yolo "I hope the wind is alway max guide" how about what you'd do if it drops?
After that 3rd afus you honestly should just get an air plant as the air constructors just do the job better
The other day he "avoids the geo" on straights, now hes only just learnt to reclaim lab... *strap on rocket jacket* im outahere!
Commander dies = gg. Change my mind.
Wow, I didn't even know that You create BaR content nowadays. Great to see that, I love your commentary but AoE 4 is not my cup of tea.
one bomber run or hovercraft raid and you are done, this is very unrealistic

Are you constantly blowing on your screen when you make these guides?
