Are our citizenries truly prepared for a Full disclosure? The technological implications alone (even putting aside the promise, that some craft in modern history are of probable et origin)..The sooner the captivating machine is shown, the sooner other militaries want it. Why not simply show the flur footage of what has been shot down in its entirety so that public can what these objects were, how fast they were moving, etc. There is no reason why, and the fact that we are now being told they may never find these objects is simply an unacceptable win win for a lack of transparency is an issue. Hope they release information.
Pico balloons are designed to disintegrate into thousands of tiny pieces if struck by an aircraft. If hit by a missile it's likely to be millions of tiny pieces, so it is unlikely much will be found.
The one hit in Alaska was likely pico balloon callsign K9YO-15 that disappeared off the tracking system on the same day as the shoot down.

@@ngapuhi4eva It would be interesting but it maybe there is not much to see as most pico balloons are very small and not easily resolved from a fast moving aircraft.
It is worth noting these amateur and professional science projects are quite common and have been happening for a couple of decades. NASA has supported tracking of these balloons by putting a data transponder in the side of the ISS. This picks up data packets from the balloons and downloads them. The resulting tracking and environmental data are recorded in a number of open web sites.
These sites could have been easily checked by NORAD to confirm what objects were floating by. It seems it was an oversight that this didn't happen.
When I last checked thirteen pico balloons were being tracked, about two thirds circling the northern hemisphere, the remainder in the south. A couple of the northern hemisphere balloons were tracking across the US having coasted in over California.
The balloons themselves can be small, sometimes no bigger than a party balloon, the data package can be no bigger than a pack of cigarettes. They are very light and designed to disintegrate on impact, so in the very unlikely event they collide with an aircraft, they pose no greater hazard than a collision with a small bird.

It was a hobby balloon. The Emergencies Act commissioner has just reviewed this finding. He has concluded that a half-million dollar missile to shoot down toys is a justifiable use of missiles.

The best way to go about this is to investigate and share information. Let's get rid of the stigma and talk about the situation openly because it is clear that something is threatening the safety of commercial flights.
This is just about America needing a pretext to tell Canada to make military expenditures and buy their weapons now.

Nope high school science pico balloon projects. Look up K9YO-15. It was lasted reported over Alaska and disappeared off the tracking system the same day as the shootdown.
I would have asked the Navy pilot why if these objects were continually flying around for days didn't you shoot one down... and try and collect the remains.
Also, are there any clearer videos than the dark video we saw. Surely planes that cost 30 - 40 million dollars must have high resolution cameras which can take clearer videos in daylight.

I don't care what the objects are but its a little disconcerting I could be flying a kite one day and have it shot down by an F-22 without them bothering to identify what it is.

"Operation: Blue Beam" doesn't hold up well as a theory. It assumes light holograms work over extremely long distances. They don't. Light scatters and refracts in the atmosphere, making it impossible to form an image from something that (if I understand this theory correctly) would be projecting light from a satellite IN ORBIT. Completely ridiculous garbage crackpot conspiracy theory. You ought to rethink your life choices if you believe in this nonsense.

I find it funny that the US makes such a big fuss in the Western media about a Chinese balloon, but barely makes even a headline about how they had their fighter jets cross over the Chinese border, during the most recent Taiwan Strait Crisis that happened this year. Balloon shooting is simply urgent advertisement for NORAD to rais fund. 2022 Canada, front yard of US, gave NORAD $70 billions to upgrade existing defence against northern attacks. But hypersonic missiles can attack from east, west and south. Therefore NORAD needs trillions in order to install new defence on both coasts of North, South Americas and the Caribbeans, back yards of US.

They are all balloons. One is actually identified by its makers, it was over Yukon and disappeared exact same time when object was shut down. So, officials probably overreacted due to Chinese ballon

Maybe it’s time to find out what they are and where they come from by 1) being informed officially that there’s intelligence from other planets and other galaxies 2) letting the scientists start to attempt communication with them, because they don’t want to harm us.
