This was great, I only knew her by name so it's cool to learn a little bit about her. I knew she was on the Belgian team but had no idea she spoke French.

That is simply because she is born French and decided to compete for Belgium, as there is too much competition to enter France’s World Cup team, just like Florent Claude did on the men’s side.
