Eminem can be incredibly goofy and fun on some of his songs, and then turn around and make you cry with his lyrics and delivery. He is a poet for sure. There is a cypher video of him rapping a cappella for 8 straight minutes, it might as well be poetry. His storytelling is arguably unrivaled in rap and honestly music in general. As was mentioned already “Hailey’s Song” is another great one if this one hit you.
This was by far the best reaction to any song I have ever seen. Thank you for being so real and honest with your thoughts and emotions.. truly an amazing thing to watch.
I’ve been listening to Eminem since “my name is”’ first came out. There is no way that you could figure him out or begin to understand the complexities of his rhymes or the struggles he’s been through just by watching a few videos, but if you follow his music in chronological order, the decades long rollercoaster ride of struggle and success and hard-won growth will give you a sense of awe and respect for his skill and complexity as an artist and a human being. I think there are few people I respect in the music industry as much as him. He gets up every day and keeps trying.
I lost my best friend not to long ago she was in a coma and than ended up getting taken off machine and she passed so i wish you all the best and may she rest in piece, im a huge emiem fan and its really awesome to see someone who hasn't heard his music in depth to react to this keep it goimg
Keep strong. I lost my brother about 2 years after the album came out. Him and I listened to eminem together all the time. And I use his music as therepy still to this day. I hope you listen to more of his music!
Old school Eminem stuff got me through a lot as a kid, an absolute legend. Not the biggest fan of his newer stuff but he was definitely a product of his time.
My dad passed away 5 years ago and he loved Pink Floyd, it's been a while since I've listened to them because my dad had the song "Time" as his ringtone and every time that song started playing my mind just went straight to thinking "Dad's home!" but he's not, and it hurts every single time.
I feel like I am reading poetry. Exactly it is poetry! Rap is an acronym for “Rhythm and poetry”... a lot of the popular rap songs these days are less poetry but there are still plenty of lyrical rap songs.
I remember when I was having a discussion with someone over whether or not Rap can be considered an art form, they were adamant it can't, but I asked them how they define art, they said art is a creative expression of another person, that evokes something from within someone else. They defeated their own argument with their own definition of art, and when I played them a song that they related to, suddenly their ears were attuned to the lyrics, and the story within began to stand out more clearly to them. This is why art is so powerful, each of us can find some small piece that resonates within us and our journey through life. Maybe it makes us think, cry, laugh, mourn, remember or even become angry, whatever the emotion, when a creative expression makes you feel something, then it is incredibly powerful. I think a lot of people who dismiss Rap hear only certain offensive words and don't take the time to delve deeper, but I understand, art is subjective, and not everything is for everyone. I am sure there are other forms out there that I myself have overlooked, and would perhaps find something beautiful, or enlightening in.
I dont usually read long posts but this was beautifully said. People are always surprised that I listen to rap and then I introduce them to certain songs and then they get it. It's a powerful genre when you look in the right direction.
I'm really sorry 😞 about your loss. Never apologise for showing emotion. It's very sweet of you to do this in her honour and I believe she's proud of you wherever she is. Great reaction and analysis for a first timer you just gained a subscriber in me. Take care ❤️

This appeared out of nowhere in my recommended and seeing someone react this way to this music makes my reaction seem not as bad. I only reacted like this is with linkin park.
What a lot of non Eminem fans don’t understand is he is a poetic jokester who has had a rough upbringing. People take his lyrics too serious and only focus on the offensive and violent things. Eminem is intentionally a controversial artist. And for those who actually have a sense of reason and understanding can break his words down and see them as just that...words and poetry. He turned his horrid dark past into a career by creating an outlet to vent his feelings and help/resonate with people who have experienced similar things. He’s actually a pretty nice person and is humble and respectful. Lots of people focus on him saying negative or hateful things but he literally joking most of the time and doesn’t want people to take it at full face. It’s an art... better to take his method of turning your frustrations and feelings into a productive outlet that you can benefit from rather than actually going out and doing what you feel inside. Express yourself and find something you’re passionate about. He has come out publicly and explained he doesn’t hate gay people, women, etc... it’s literally just words and people get offended too easily rather than just laugh it off. Cleaning out my closet and the grave basically symbolizes cleaning the skeletons and dark shit out of your past and burying it and moving on. Eminem also paid a large sum of money to help his mom pay for medical expenses and he tries to make things work with her but it’s hard to forgive people for the abuse they put you through... it takes a lot of strength and heart. I relate to a lot of his songs and have lived a similar dark past... but I took his lyrics and used it as an outlet and helped myself to be a better person rather than being a monster like those who wronged me.
“Does she make a miraculous redemption?” No but yes. They do end up forgiving each other in a way. Eminem made a song called headlights, apologizing for this song and forgiving his mom.
You never cease to amaze me Rana. You put all your emotions out there for all to see. I know your sister would be so proud of you and the person you have become. I had to sit down after I realized why that Ronnie line hit so hard.
You are loved!
Respect!
Didn't expect that kind of honest reaction from a reaction channel... Looking forward to next vid of u ❤️❤️❤️
Edit: I haven't cried for a reaction bfor
Much love❤️❤️
Eminem is just one of the greats. His songs carry deep meanings, stories, and he is a lyrical genius.
At the time, Kim had just cheated on him and had a child with another man
😶😶😶😶
And he has adopted this child
@@GiddyKitty Yeah and Kim was in jail for being in charge of drugs so Eminem adopted her kid and another family member as well so he had to raise all the kids alone.
@@iamalexwolf and his brother, Nate, too
You’re going to love Eminem the goat rapper
For Me Eminem Is The Goat Artist !
Hope you’re doing well stay strong and this was a beautiful reaction. And man you had me tearing up with you🥲
Old school Eminem stuff got me through a lot as a kid, an absolute legend. Not the biggest fan of his newer stuff but he was definitely a product of his time.
You are totally awesome and you remind me so much of my niece who is a huge KPOP fan. She got me onto some KPOP as well.
Awwh why thank you! & Your niece seems awesome.
Future stan in the making right here
I remember when I was having a discussion with someone over whether or not Rap can be considered an art form, they were adamant it can't, but I asked them how they define art, they said art is a creative expression of another person, that evokes something from within someone else.
You are into a hell of a journey, enjoy girl
I'm really sorry 😞 about your loss. Never apologise for showing emotion. It's very sweet of you to do this in her honour and I believe she's proud of you wherever she is. Great reaction and analysis for a first timer you just gained a subscriber in me. Take care ❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ it means a lot really :')
Amazing reaction. Please keep listening to Eminem. He is a lyrical genius. Yes he has his crazy songs. But has many songs with good content and great story telling.
I love this reaction...1st time I've been to this channel but love the perspective fr. Cool to see this stuff. Sorry for your lose. Your very brave for your vulnerability.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it❤️
This appeared out of nowhere in my recommended and seeing someone react this way to this music makes my reaction seem not as bad. I only reacted like this is with linkin park.
Thankyou for a genuine reaction ❤️. Do more eminem songs. Not afraid, sing for the moment, till i colapse, spacebound....
“Does she make a miraculous redemption?”
No but yes. They do end up forgiving each other in a way. Eminem made a song called headlights, apologizing for this song and forgiving his mom.
You never cease to amaze me Rana. You put all your emotions out there for all to see. I know your sister would be so proud of you and the person you have become. Never apologize for being who you are. I know that doing this was hard and opening yourself up and being vulnerable was hard also. I was touched by your reaction to this. As always my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.❤
6:38 this is what makes Eminem so special. ❤
(He's lyrical, tells great stories and creates a very vivid picture in your mind with his words, creativity, his passion in making music, how he puts a song together and the shit he went through - he let us into his personal thoughts and feelings. On top of everything else)
Don’t apologise for crying
In fact if you keep listening to Eminem it won’t be the last
Please keep listening
Headlights next!

That was an incredible reaction because of how honest you were through out all of it. Something that is missed by a lot of reactors.
Thank you so much..it really means a lot ❤️
React to mockingbird and when I’m gone and like toy soldiers. When it comes to telling a vivid story with their words, no one does it better than em.
This was an amazing reaction!! I would love to see you listen to other Eminem songs! Its a great journey ahead! And its ok to show emotions!!
Check out his song "STAN", where the term "stan" as a fan of an artist/group/celeb came from
Im so sorry for your loss. And yes you don't need to apologise for being emotional it shows you are a human.
Goodluck have a good day
I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. Loss is never easy. Grief is a struggle. It's how we process that pain & overcome it that defines us & makes us better people. Just remember your sister loved you & would want you to be happy & succeed. Keep her in your heart, Rana. She'll always be there for you.💙💙💙
Now you been to listen to HEADLIGHTS which is his apology to his mom. Its amazing.
Will do😮
4:04 "But the smartest shit I did was take the bullets outta that gun
'Cause I'd have killed 'em
Shit, I woulda shot Kim and them both" Here hes reffering to his wife kim kissing a bouncer(John Guerra) in the parking lot and eminem assulated John with an unloaded gun , If you wanna know more about it hear the skit in the album "The Eminem Show" theres a skit called "The Kiss (Skit)" where he indirectly explains what exactly happened, Also if you dont mind me asking what happened to your sister?
Welcome to real music. Good reaction btw
thanks for doing this, i have heard this song so many times but watching you you listen was like re-discovering it. Stay strong and may your sister rest in peace.
pls pls PLS react to *"Headlights"* by Eminem. After all the bs he had to put with he still found it in his heart to forgive his momma. I'm so sorry about your sister, happy birthday to her (a fellow Stan 😁) keep your head up! Take care ✊🏽
Oh Giddy Kitty! Stay strong! I'm sorry for your loss...

The rest of the world: “yeah we already knew this...”
Next time do the uncensored version! Kinda have to for the flow and verse structure, really important in hip hop. Experiencing it for the first time is pretty cool though, keep it up 😎
Eminem will change your life, let it happen!
I’m sorry to hear about your sister you have my condolences... the reason a lot of people myself included, listen to lyrical rap and Eminem is because it relates to our life and helps us get through the same situations Eminem brings up in his songs and I just wanna say your pure reaction was very nice to hear everything you said

Powerful reaction, you seem sweet. I'm an Em fan since a child so it's refreshing to see an outside perspective on things sometimes. I'm sure I'll be tuning in to your future stuff keep smashing it
Eminems uncle ronnie died when em was 17 or 18 I can't imagine how he felt to hear that from his mother
Must've been devastating 💔
You need to listen to more Eminem. He's one of the best songwriter of all time.
poetry indeed.
This reaction, and the way you spoke about your sister, was really moving. Wishing you the best ❤️
This was a ballsy choice for your first Eminem reaction, definitely not a beginner Eminem song; even Em has said it makes him cringe whenever it used to come on. But with that being said you did amazing getting through it, and I hope the graphic-ness of the song didn't turn you off to Eminem too much. He has some really amazing and heart touching songs that aren't quite as dark
Eminem's lyrics are like pictures within pictures. His imagery and metaphors are scores above the rest
Rap always had depth. The only problem is that today lyrics have less value.
Sadly its true, tough there are still extremly great rappers nowadays with great value on their lyrics, Eminem being one of them
It isn't like that at all. This kind of rhetoric is usually said by people who don't care to search for good music. There's more amazing music than ever before.
