And that’s why there’s no such thing as an “uncontested scrum” in rugby league (that’s a union perspective on the league scrum). 10 meters from your own try line, you’re either switched on or you’re switched off. Fabulous to see the strategic use of the scrum there. Don’t ever let the scrum go in league!

Walmsley is now so big and strong he can break a scrum in half on his own from the second row 😂

Did well to finish the try considering the speed Tommy Makinson came across at. T-Mak is unbelievably fast.

The fact they never even added makinsons try saving tackle at the end to stop warrington winning though 🤔

My team warrington have finally signed some beef since Chris Hill left who I love dearly our pack is just terrible we need to get these signings trained up and ready to challenge next season I wish Mr Powell all the very best he's got a big job to sort out and I'm confident he can and will do it

Maybe teams will stop doing the stupid ball stop in the scrum to try catch the defensive line offside.

Once the scrum has been deemed to be correctly formed, you are allowed to push

@@decidingpointreveiverschoi6005 all sides have kinda come together as a "what's the point" kind of deal, a "we wont if you dont" just because of how much of a faf it is, but it can be quite a good stratergy to push when the opponents dont expect it

@SDH scrums can be a good thing from an attacking sense, if a team is willing to be bold they add lots of space (how many times in 2019 did we see grace score from a scrum)...in terms of the contest you are allowed to push once the balls in, its just up to the other side to stop you, in this case warrington were trying the awful "hold the ball to get a penalty" and got it wrong
