Brilliant video! Lots of useful info. Seriously considered the Braille Sense. Fabulous bit o’ kit.
Looking forward to getting a braille display in the not too distant. Opted for a Mantis by Humanware. I work out and about. Laptop is heavy and word processing on the phone isn’t up to scratch.
Wanted the option of a qwerty keyboard as commands are easier and I’m much more used to thinking in qwerty.
The braille display is going to be great for reading things to people on visits. Hoping I can turn the voice on Jaws off a bit with it connected to the PC.

Alice if you think technology is harder to learn as you get older try being me I’m nearly 61 (my birthday is about a week away) living in my SciFi future (mobile phones, and personal computers were pipe dreams when I was at school).
As a new braille reader I’m still working on my reading proficiency in grade 1, trying to get voiceover proficient, and getting better with my Hable One.
Thank you for this insight on using this braille display. (Mine is the Orbit 20 plus… because it connects by Bluetooth to my iPad and my neighbour’s tv is always trying to join up it can be hit or miss if I can connect them up… so frustrating).

Hi Lynne, firstly Happy Birthday from Henshaws. Everything gets easier the more you use it, at least that's what I tell myself.

Other than Sound & Vision, where can one get help in using this in the Greater Manchester area? Does Henshaws undertake training?
