Nice job on your Tardis build. I've made three of these kits so far, Hartnell, Pertwee and Davison. I highly recommended these kits if you love doctor who, looks fabulous standing with your Big Chief figures. Another good method for adding texture is mixing talcum powder with PVA glue or plaster of Paris, not too much though.
I thought Jamie Bates stopped making the kits a few years ago. Has he started production again? Also fun fact, the reason that window frame broke is because it was often used as the hand hold to close the door itself. If you watch the Leisure Hive you get a close up look of Lalla Ward gripping onto the window frame to close the door.
Another excellent job! Love the attention to detail you put into these kits. The Newbery prop isn’t the best on TV, but it always looks gorgeous in a smaller scale!
Cool build nice detail still not finished my 80s I to added bevells as it's missing from 80s box and done some tweaks made more accurate I find model sand in paint made great texture lovely work
Great build and video. I'm currently in the process of building a season 19 kit. However, I'm struggling to find a reliable resource for images and references. Paint colour is also a problem. Anyone have any resources to look at?
Tip for doing the lock, drill a small indentation into the top of a nail. PB props uses this technique.
Honestly your hours of research dont go to waste cus I always rewatch your showcases and look for all the details I can do to my small 3d models

You're thinking of Nightmare of Eden - when she uses the broken window frame to shut the door.
Fantastic Matt, this is a stunning piece of work!!
These kits are really cool, and you've done a good job painting yours. I wish I had the skill to do paint something like that.

i was watching the tom baker years today and when i saw the intro i was half expecting to hear batmanmarch say "hello you tubers" for a second
I love revisiting these videos! I'm wondering, what plans do you have for that other Newbery kit?
Where did you find the large Tom Baker and are there large scale companions?

Subbed! The TARDIS looks great!
Great review! I love the intro btw :)
What is that unfinished kit in the background on your shelf?

Great video! I look forward to seeing more like this :)
I missed this kit!
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I love this Tardis prop. Great job :)
What would you say is the best TARDIS to make? I've wanted to make one of these but could never decide on which one to do
How does one buy a kit from Jamie?
I've left Jamie's twitter in the description so you can contact him. :)
Tardis Glitch XD
Jamie, like in McCrimmon.
How much are his sets? I usually make my own but that seems v simple. Concerned it may be cost prohibitive tho.
Looks very impressive..
please can we have a link to the shop?
or site to buy the kit
Without the roof just makes me think, that would make a great biscuit barrel
Whatever the info is, I like it
Oh it’s very good kit.
It Looks nice
