Catch MORE Walleyes Jigging

Today we are hunting some fall walleyes up in the shallows. We are fishing large weed flats and looking for fish using side imaging. Once we find the fish we are pitching jigs and minnows to them. Great videos Tom thanks! Used Kalins jigs on slab crappies on Monday and Tuesday in northern Minnesota in the snow. Worked awesome!

What do you do for boat care in the cold weather?

With the air temp being colder than freezing, you do anything different when transporting the boat after being in the water Tom? Any suggestions or tips consider when leaving the lake with the cold air temps to prevent water from freezing in the motor etc?

Elliot 7’3” med fast action rod ! I want one but there sold out. I need to increase my rod length for jigging. Makes total sense what you describe with the rod loading up like that.
