Wow! Wow! All of you guys that think he ripped them off didn't watch the show. They called him. and he tolded them that it would bring the most money at the biggest antique bike auction there is ,at Las Vegas. He loaded it up ,stopped by Maggie Valley, loaded up a few more ,and gave the keys to Matt ,and told him to go. Dale got the other truck and trailer and picked up other bikes. The lady and her son were at the sale too. I don't remember how much the bike brought, but Dale bid on it once, but had to drop out imediately cause he couldn't afford it. The Bike brought all it would bring and that's all . Everyone went away happy, and I thought it was a good show. You shouldn't down the man for trying to make a living at what he does. What he does is not easy. It looks fun but ,he busts his hump getting bikes and other things into that museum hoping that we will like what he has done. Its not easy working at pleasing everyone, but he has to try or no one would come back or tell his freinds to stop by. Good job Dale!

The motorcycle sold for $133,000 and represented the highest sale price of the MidAmerica Auction. An older, restored example of a Pierce, a 1911 Pierce Single that was once displayed at the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa, was sold by its current owner for $40,000. - See more at: www.thunderpress.net/top-stories/2013-midamerica-las-vegas-antique-motorcycle-auction/2013/05/03.htm#sthash.yAwfjHLD.dpuf

I'm guessing that none of you guys have ever been to the museum in Maggie Valley, NC. I, myself, will be in his shop in the morning dropping off painted parts and whatever Dale needs from me. He's a great guy. Check out the Wheels Through Time Museum.

IN 99% OF THE CASES WHERE A VERY VINTAGE ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION IS UP FOR SALE - THE BUYER WILL HONOR THE THE BIKES INTEGRITY AND WILL NOT RESTORE IT.
THAT CANNOT BE SAID ABOUT ANTIQUE CARS, HOWEVER. FAR TOO MANY ANTIQUE CARS ARE SOUPED UP, CUSTOMIZED, AND ALTERED - THEREBY, RUINING THEM FOR ANY FUTURE GENERATION BUYER WHO WANTS AN UNMOLESTED ANTIQUE CAR.

The bare minimum I would pay for that bike, with all the accessories like it has, would be around $250,000. If I wasn't a broke average joe.
