To add to the shaving advice, if you have sensitive skin ditch the canned foams and gels ASAP and go for a more traditional cream or shave soap and use an alcohol free aftershave balm. An affordable cream that you can hand lather without a brush is Proraso White (for sensitive skin) and a good gentle balm is Nivea post shave balm for sensitive skin. There are higer end options that are nicer, but you'll need a brush. A good brush both works better and feels nicer so I do recommend using them personally. Additionally if you get a cut or there's a bump on your face, if you must shave, shave around it. Like you mentioned you want to avoid reopening wounds. Another trick when shaving is have a styptic pencil or alum block on hand so if you do nick yourself you can close the cut immediately and get on with your day rather than having to wait it out. My final bit of advice is for anyone that has tried every cartridge and disposable out there but still has problems with razor burn, irritation, etc. Switch to a good safety razor. For me personally this has been the only way for me to stop getting irritation when shaving. Hope this helps any future comment readers, feel free to ask questions and I'll respond when I have the time.
@@DimitriaSparrow thanks for the reply! Been catching up on your vids the past few days, excellent advice as is the norm on your channel. Please keep it up and cheers from Canada!
Thank you sooo much for this I have made all these mistakes lol also my piercing was the worse , lovely video looking forward for the next video for for tips 🙂🙂
I had my ears pierced with a gun and yes, I was told to rotate the earrings. I ended up with an infection in my ear and when I took the earring out a ball of yuck popped out with it leaving me with a huge crater in my lobe. All is healed now but I cannot wear tiny studs as it disappears into the crater
I'm still trying to get the hang of shaping my eyebrows. I have naturally thick, bushy brows. I started going to a threading salon but I stopped due to covid. Since then, I've been waxing them at home. I cut facial strips down so that I'm only taking a small amount of hair off at a time. I can't seem to get an arch though.

So sorry you had to deal with that! The misinformation about caring for body mods is really dismaying.
