I teach knitting and crochet to children ages 6-18 and adults, too. I always tell my students that you have never wasted your time, no matter how good you are at knitting or crochet. I know making things that you don't like or making mistakes can be frustrating but think of it as practice. You are practicing your skills. You are improving your techniques. You would not have known if you liked the double-stranded scrunchy unless you tried it. You tried, you didn't like it, so you reclaimed the yarn. You set a good example for new yarn crafters. Just wanted to share. You are talented and you only get better with each stitch.

Kelsie I love your vlogs, your content, the things you make and your tutorials. You are an amazing crocheter. I have been crocheting since I was 11 years old (shhh don’t tell but I’m now 64) and I can tell you the quality of your work is impeccable! It makes me so happy to see the younger generation still interested in crochet and taking it in new directions! If you ever visit New Jersey I would love to meet you! Of course always take care of you but as long as you keep making videos I’ll keep watching!!

New sub here. New crocheter here,too. I have made my first 12 granny squares, about 20 flop center circles, and 3 sunburst coasters that were supposed to be granny squares in 15 days. Lol.😂 I'm trying, and I think I finally got it!! I hope I'm as good as you one day. I want to make a sunburst granny square tote bag or cardigan for my first project. I loooove the pastel rainbow scrunchie. They are so cute❤ and i'm obsessed with your bandanas. You're so talented, girl.

i love watching these while working on a wip, it makes me feel like i’m hanging out w a friend while we do our own thing 🤭 also i hope this isn’t weird to say, but i like that you show us what you’re eating when you take breaks. my diet is very similar to yours (at least what you show on youtube) and i often stress over it bc i feel like im not eating “healthy” enough or “taking care” of myself, so seeing other people who eat similar really helps 🥹
