There was plenty of commentary on social media mentioning his religion and his support for Palestine. Then when you couple that with the fact that the nfls letter called him out personally then yes Al shaair and the Texans had the right to address the personal attacks.

It’s not dirty because he used his forearm to the chest. It’s illegal to hit the qb late which happened to force the qbs head to hit the ground. His head hitting the ground is what caused the concussion.

The issue is, #0 led with the forearm to the head. That was dirty. Secondly, his conduct all the way to exiting the stadium was reprehensible. Third, #0 has a history of dirty plays.

but if he was already heading towards the torso and then t law slid late make him get hit on the head. what is the defender to do in a sec span. lean off and risk jax gaining a first down and possibly winning in the end? my argument is that t law knew the run game risks and should of slid earlier or go towards the sidelines.

NOWHERE is there a rule, the Forearm cannot contact the head. The rule is Targeting and/or Head to Head. If the rule is you cannot contact the head, THEN WHY WEAR HELMETS? The correct answer is: Its Susceptible.

In 84 games played in the NFL he's been fined only 4 times and this is his first suspension. Runyan was voted one of the dirtiest players in the league when he was playing back in 2006. Him calling painting anyone as a poor sport is laughable at best.

I’m a Niners fan and when he was with us he didn’t have this reputation but that was mostly because he didn’t play as much. Our version of this is Dre Greenlaw. He plays hard, he gets outside of himself on the field sometimes, and he gets fined or penalized at times. I’m not going to defend his on the field behavior and how that’s characterized with who he is off the field, and it’s not on the NFL to address that either.
You can be a good guy all you want, but when you forearm a sliding QB in the head and knock him out of the game and then hold your arms out like you’re surprised about the flag, then you just aren’t getting it and the NFL will send you that message.

3 games is an absolute joke. Dude is a competitor and was trying to stop the first down, while Trevor was trying to wait to slide til he got the first. That’s an impossible situation for the tackler, and he hit him in the chest. RIGHT AT THE FIRST DOWN LINE. All these non athletes thinking it’s so easy to hold up in those situations for the tackler.
Yall have clearly never been in highly athletic, super fast paced, competitive situations like that.
I have seen WAY dirtier hits, I don’t even think he was trying to be dirty on this one. One game max should have been the punishment. If Trevor doesn’t get knocked out he doesn’t even get suspended for that hit. It was bad luck that Trevor’s head hit the turf, dude hit him in the chest.

Why is the standard for when or when Azeez should go in for the hit been "it looks like the QB might slide, so I should let up". The ball was placed on the 45, that is where Trevor actually slid, not thought about sliding, not shuffling his feet, but he actually slid. That makes it a late slide and Azeez was already engaging the hit. Then Florio calls the hit on Caleb questionable, Caleb was fully in bounds, that wasn't questionable, it was just a good hard hit.

If the QB “looks like a running type of QB” meaning if he’s a black or non-white QB then he won’t get the same level of protection regardless of the circumstances. How many times have QBs like Hurts, Lamar, Tua, etc. have been hit in the head&neck? And how many of the defensive players have been vilified for those hits? Critical thinking is needed.

Sims is a bit delusional. The latest and most of his past infractions aren't moments of accidentally going over the redline. Punching someone in the face, continuing to tackle someone who is well out of bounds, and leading with a forearm directly to the face of a sliding player aren't "redline accidents." They all demonstrate classless, immature lack of responsibility and control. That needed to be addressed. You can play hard without playing dirty.

QB slid too late. The speed of both players attempting to get that play. When did each player enter the point of not return. The tackle and slide were initiated at the same time. The defender would have been hip high except the slide was executed, and the collision was a result of the rule change. Did the defender go head first? Is that not allowed waist high? Rodney Harrison was an aggressive player, and should we look at every player's transgressions. Drew Bledsoe, the best example of QB not protecting himself.
