little tip: if you reach the flag at the end of the level when the timer in the top right has the same tens and ones number (ex. 299,288,277,166,155, 144), you will get fireworks that has the same number (ex. you reach at 133 you get three fireworks), and then, toad will give you a power up. This is shown accidently at some times, but you can test it. Just wait at the flag until the tens and ones number is the same, and you get a free power up!
And the higher numbers give better power ups, for the most part. I think 99 gives a star, compared to a regular mushroom for 11.
I must confess, as an early 80s born guy, I have so much to update myself on the Mario Franchise... Until this day in December 2022, I had never heard of, let alone played this game before... But it certainly gives me such huge nostalgic vibes about Super Mario World, which I spent so much time in the mid 90s playing, and is my favourite Mario of all time... It really feels like an updated version of Super Mario World...

I believe the last Mario Bros. game I played was Super Mario World. The last time I saw someone playing another version, it might’ve been Super Mario Galaxy, which, to me, was stunning. I have to say, though, the colors and gradients in this particular game are unbelievably gorgeous.

The New Super Mario Bros series will obviously never live up to the classics, but they're still fun games.
They live up to the standard but aren't as iconic and nostalgic. I've always preferred 3D mario games but super mario bros series is amazing

I still am going to watch all of this even though I watched through all of your Wii U play through recently, because the truth is, I love your content. Even though you don’t speak, that’s not what brings charm to it. It is the fact that you put lots of work into this and that is what is really impressive sand I say good job. I wish that I could go that long without breaks and even with breaks I could not do it all in one day. I get that some parts are cut and edited in for breaks but the point still stand. (At this point I am just rambling to make this the longest comment on this page). Funny thing about this is that in school back a few months ago I did something similar with an assignment that I really didn’t want to do. I just started typing random stuff and I called it the ramble rant. I’ve just come to the conclusion that one of my videos has 2.2k views which is a lot considering I only have 26 subscribers at this point but hey, you’ve got to start somewhere.
