Big Sky Country debuted at #48 and peaked at #36 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart in 1991 (www.billboard..... Many don't know that Chris wrote the song while living in Belgium; you can listen to that earlier recording here: • Video Malcolm Burn, who produced LWTL and plays keyboards on this tour, revealed in his podcast that the album version of BSC uses pieces of this earliest recording. As for Chris, he described BSC in a Poet Maudit interview [pbqmag.org/poe...] this way: "To me, 'Big Sky Country' was a Big Fake Prince Song."
