Cobra Kai easily became one of my favourite series and it’s not just the good writing, but the characters are likeable!

Yes, I think that would be sweet! I like that they didn't force Anthony to change who he is, that Sam recognized that he just has a different style of learning, like Demetri. I also think it's cool that it was his intelligence coming up with the circular defense that ended up saving the day. Kid deserves a lot of kudos.

@@Nargon46 Crazy cause I never been a Sam or Anthony fan but seeing them both humbled had made me appreciate the characters a lot more (ditto Tory).
The fact that Sam has embraced both karate styles would make her teaching and growing closer to her brother in the process pretty cool
Yeah. A little bit kinda disappointed in Anthony’s storyline. They only highlighted progression as a person. They didn’t really bother showing his progression as a martial artist. So I’m not even sure how we’re suppose to buy Anthony even being a challenge for Kenny, when they only bothered leveling up Kenny.
@@Kayoss13212 Anthony's arc (at least in this season) is about his journey as a person. He has only been training for a few weeks, maybe a month or two by the end of the season. Part of what I love about this show is that it is about the characters first, and not all of them are natural martial artists. We arent for a second supposed to think he stands a chance against Kenny, if fact, we are supposed to know the opposite which is why Sam starts training him. I think we will get some Anthony fights in Season 6, when he's had more time. I hope we get to see him, Daniel, and Sam all fighting together as a family unit! That would be sick!

@@0kk812 I meant in the show I thought her character was the same age as the younger brother. Oona is 16 in real life and Griffin (who plays the younger brother) is 16, hence why I thought their characters would also be the same age and Mary is 26.

@@Kayoss13212 That's because she ain't fought nobody in the big leagues like Miguel or Robby. Miguel is undefeated too, the only times he"lost" was at the pool and that wasn't a complete loss. Miguel was also the only one who didn't get hit in the Cobra Kai brawl at the season 5 finale. Stop being a simp and man up

After ssn 5, I see them trying to merge with Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang, while struggling to adapt to their philosophies since Cobra Kai’s mentality was drilled into them

I think the writers got it wrong in how quickly the CK students turned their backs on Silver.
Just human nature alone says many of them would not and then when you add in the mentality these kids already had/were taught I just don't see many of them being so principled as to have a real problem with their sensei cheating
@@LN-Lifer I personally think it would be too easy for the writers to just plop another dojo in the valley out of thin air.. so I see either them finding a way to make the people we root for turn into villains themselves or maybe even the sensei’s! that would be different 🤔

In other words were they leaving him because of the video itself or because they saw him as weak? I’m starting to think that them seeing him weak made them realize the Cobra K philosophy was just a façade..but still, very quick reaction
