great series of your Marlborough Mash up. Awesome spot and top fish caught, nothing better than, Gurnard, Snapper etc on the dinner table, great eating.
Back in the 1970's Mister Twister started the first manufacture of the single tail soft plastic for the American largemouth bass market. Still till this day is the No.1 way to catch bass. The twin tail came out from Scampi. In White up here of Vancouver Island BC we use the white coloured ones for Cod and Snapper. Hence we call them Cod Jigs. Makes for a great Saturday night fish fry. There's a spot west of Victoria that we can catch every cast no scent a all. It's the spot that's important. A small point beside a deep hole.It seems that fish even Trout & Salmon love plastic. Unfortunately if we keep a stocker trout to eat the stomachs are full with Yamamoto Senko's that the Smallmouth Bass angler's either loose or trough overboard. The Senko is the No.1 way to catch big Bass. The Yamamoto plastic is biodegradable but other cheaper brands aren't. Anyways sure hope you enjoyed that Snapper.
Love your Vid's Bro....you guys are really on top of your game....love the energy, when yous realised that the Bro had that snapper....I remember when I caught my first 20 lb snapper i hugged my mate that hard I actually broke his ribs...poor buggar lol
Great vid. You smashed that little river with the deadly plastic's into a seething foam!
