This reminds me a little bit of The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright. That book scared me to death when I was a kid!
Same but loved it
Also reminded me of the book Dollhouse of the Dead (Ghost in the Dollhouse) by
Kathryn Reiss.
Weirdly she also has a book called Sweet Miss Honeywell's revenge..and they're basically the same thing with slight differences in characters.
Own both from school and remember being so confused and mad about it cause I wouldn't have bother using my previous bookfair money on Honeywells revenge if I'd known she just renamed the book lol. Didn't notice character names changed till later but to this day it's still just wth when I think about it
