Watch the Billy Edwards film, the kid can sling the ball. He has an accurrate arm and it's STRONG. C'mon Billy you'll THRIVE behind our line.

I watched his highlights against USC and was pleasantly surprised, gonna watch some more but I like his style more than Miller Moss and I think he would be able to mentor Underwood better since they play more similar than Miller Moss would.

@@jonathanbrugii9407 YES HE DOES, with our Coaching and Offensive line, he'll REALLY become relaxed in the pocket. Maryland had a pretty poor Offensive line and not much time in the Pocket.

Looks like McCulley only has one year of eligibility left. He only appeared in four games as a senior, so he's eligible to red shirt this season giving him one year left. He hadn't red shirted previously.
due to redshirting this year he has 2, he went into the portal in September to save his eligibility.
McCulley can also play qb in a pinch.
Michigan players at the end of the day, still must go to school at Michigan as well. I'm just sayin', it's probably easier to go to school at OSU or MSU...if it becomes a money thing everyone will find it somehow; the education you get could be plus

@@ddavis1786 Believe it or not. Tanner Koziol goes to my gym and I live in the same town as him. He’s more like 6ft 5 220 and is more like a receiver than tight end. He won’t go to Michigan because he can’t block and is more of a throw up in the air and catch. He’s visiting Wisconsin and Houston and could commit to one of those schools. I don’t think Michigan is interested because he can’t block. He also isn’t very strong for a tight end either. That’s why I feel Michigan isn’t interested in him. Played basketball with him at the gym lol.

Fully agree TJ - he’s not a home run, but, athletic and very experienced. As a HS QB he could play the wildcat like Edwards did from the backfield. Great start to the portal season! Go Blue! 💪💙💪

Let's not forget about guys like Frederick Moore or Petyon O'Leary when you mention Semaj Morgan. Those guys deserve a shot with a real FBS quality QB throwing the ball. They made a few plays out of nothing when there was no threat from anybody throwing the ball.
Having said that, I still see them signing three receivers out of the portal.
We need D Line help, another WR, O-Line help, a couple of DBs, and an RB. TE shouldn't really matter that much with what we have in house (Klein, Preiskorn, Hogan).

This should be an interesting pickup. Cignetti either underutilized the hell out of him, or he's not that good. He might be the tallest wide out we've had in my recent memory.

It'll be interesting to see how teachable McCulley is. Cignetti wanted Donovan to step up his game a bit and didn't get the improvement he was looking for so McCulley didn't get much PT as a result.

5:02 I don’t hear us in the running for any top tier talent in the portal. It’s all like “let’s get excited over this 3 star player that wasn’t even playing last season because he got demoted!” Why is it ohio state goes out and gets whatever 4 & 5 star player they want and we get 3 stars and are supposed to celebrate this? msu is a 3 star school. We’re excited to get players that msu would get? Why can’t Michigan attract upper tier players? I don’t get it. I hear about all these schools making big moves in the portal and we get Billy Edwards Jr and a 3 star WR from Indiana. I’m sick of looking at the portal and getting the #34, #19, #48 etc player at their position. We’re not putting together a National Championship team. I don’t want to team that “makes it to the playoff.” I want a team that wins the f*cking playoff.
Not mad at you all just frustrated that this is what we get and it’s positioned to us by Michigan like we’re idiots that don’t know any better and can’t tell they’re not doing anything impressive. I keep hearing Bryce Underwood, Bryce Underwood, which is great, but if we have no team around him, then it doesn’t matter. Except the freshmen class, all I see is a weaker version of last years team with a better QB. We have no depth. None. Idk what Moore is doing but he’s not winning over any elite portal talent 🤷 when we’re not even in the conversation for the top 3 or so WR’s this portal, it starts to make me think we’re in for some bad times ahead under Moore. He seems like a good guy but I have zero confidence in him at this point.
