As a railwayman with 26 years under my belt,I hope this shows people who criticise the 66s just how hard they are worked and what a great job they do. Personally I don't like them,as they are so noisy in the cab,and after a full shift on one, your head feels like you've done 12 rounds with Anthony Joshua! They are a good workhorse though and I hate to say it,but they've saved and improved railfreight. I'll always be a 56 man though😁. Excellent video mate.
Thank you Michael for your view on your working office the class 66, my opinion is its good to have different class's of loco on our railways, but from a business point of view to have everything the same and standard, Yes the class 56 is a great loco, mine is the good old class 37 which you will know if you watch my videos. Sorry to hear the cab environment on the class 66 is still not good which I thought had been improved. Pleased you enjoyed this video Michael, and thanks for your comment. Regards Mike.
The new station looks pretty impressive and some nice footage of all the action Mike, at least the departing units get a bit of a run at the 'hill' now lol.Cheers, Brian.

Great video there, Mike. I really enjoyed watching throughout, but the banking procedure was particularly interesting to watch.
Yes that was something special I agree, might not get that angle again Kyle. all the best Mike.
Looking to visit the area at some point next year all being well. Are there ticket barriers at Bromsgrove or not?
I don't think so, check National Rail website Mark.
Great vid! Nice shot of the entrance road!! Like the banking move, good shot😀
Thanks Keith, just be day time visits in the future.
I'm surprised that the redcar margam is still running, and with a mix of wagons!
Its got to keep running to give the banker some work. Cheers Mike.
Great Video mate :) looks so modern and new!
Yes its a nice clean station lets hope it keeps like that, shame it has taken all this time to build.
Nice bit of action there. You can still get quite a good shot of trains going up the bank, it seems,
Yes for the moment you can AT. Cheers Mike.
Nice new station. Plenty of class 66 action. Did you send any of your “spots” to BBC Trainspotting Live
No Paul, Station cost 24 million.
Did you try out the lifts or don't you trust them yet?
As it was late a night, new, and no one about I didn't us it, plus I like to use my legs while I can.
Good record of the new stn, the exterior reminds me of Coleshill?
Thanks Gaz for watching, interesting that it reminds you of CPW station. Regards Mike
how do you no were the trains come from
There are books with the codes or from railcam.
