This movie brings back childhood memories, I watch this movie when I was a kid on channel Sci-Fi (formally). But in recent years, I found out that like Mothra and Biollante, Megaguirus is a female kaiju and I never knew that until recently, how interesting.
Without question the best film of the Millennium era, and one of the best G films period. I'd love to see Legendary do a modernized take on Megaguiras.

Godzilla does not spam his beam much. He must have been cautious because he thought megaguirus was like mothra with her scale defense. After seeing megaguirus only have speed for defense, he just went nope and baited megaguirus for an atomic surprise.
