By surrendering our identification with the body we would certainly not lose it but we will remain the ever liberated spiritual being totally in charge of the actions performed through this body.
When we surrender and simply let go and wait for the flow and synchronicity thats comes when we give up the struggles and just be in your own internal power/mindset we can create the things that have alluded us usually through our fears and frustrations. Since I have become aware and conscious that my thoughts create my reality I have discovered my Inner Peace and power that frees me from my old conditioning and beliefs and let the energy flow to me that I often pushed away while trying to control situations. The first and foremost thing is to understand that God is infinite omnipresent and omniscient and in front of him we are just a Speck of dust. Once we understand the might of the God and our tinyness then it becomes clear what we are in front of God which will let go of our ego making us humble. Perfect timing for me. I have just surrendered to the fact of moving home to the country and town I love won’t happen. I have been fighting with this feeling as though I have lost all inspiration in life to have dreams. What I do know is that things in my life I fought hard for turned out as a miserable experience causing pain. I was thinking I’m a quitter with no inspiration now but I’m feeling liberated. If I knew surrender felt this good I would have done it 50 years ago. My feeling is who cares?
Can we be Lord's humble servant? Do we need to have some humility? What is ego in its nature? We are a proud, full of angry and envy, have a lot of desires. We are deeply sick. And yes, surrender is a single true way of our healing and happiness.
