Not unusual, it just really suprised me because I had never heard of him until he was on Gossip Girl so I just asusmed he was American because he's so good at the accent. But then I heard him on an interview and I had no idea that wasn't his real voice. Like it was an accent. Sorry, it's hard for me to explain haha.
I can see both sides of it. Most Americans are fascinated by British (and other foreign) accents, because they're different. So they almost represent a fantasy. I actually find Ed's voice more attractive though when he speaks as Chuck. But either way, his voice has a nice quality to it. And he is attractive, regardless of how he's speaking.
