Who cares if you're happy do this for 5-10 years straight. Save everything, buy land, put mini houses on your property, and rent them out before 30years old. Make passive income off them quit 1 of your jobs and enjoy the next 50-60 years stress free of money at least. Hell, even get a part-time job or have 1 job and pay it off for the next 30 years of your life, then retire at 60-65 and enjoy the next 10-20 years of your life. Lol, I hope this makes sense 😅
Mmmmeh, been working two jobs for a couple years and life never got easier, it just felt more "sped up",like i was trying to skip to the good part except it never came. Luckily I've changed jobs so now i have the "main" workplace that pays decent and a side hustle that takes a day a week and brings extra cash for savings/investing/emergency funds. I used to be depressed LMAO burnout all the time, feeling worthless cuz I'm a uni graduate with honors & it wasn't paying off. Now i still get exhausted but at least I have free time to hang out with friends and family and indulge in hobbies at least a little. Do i earn much more now? No. Am i happier as a human being? Definitely
Only if you have no other option. I would recommend to find a job that offers lots of overtime, this will not only save your time also pay you 1.5X or even double for every single hours over 40 per week. Good luck
i was thinking this too. i’ve worked 2 jobs before (well, one was actually unpaid externship) but that took up 7 days a week. then i got hired at a vet hospital & worked 5 12 hr shifts in a row. couldn’t do anything in those 5 days due to all the overtime, bc it was from 10am to 10pm. but i still had 2 days off to myself, and the OT pay added up.
I work the same hours. 6:00 am - 2:30pm at hospital # 1 (down the street from my house) and 4:00 pm - 10:30 pm (some 11:30’s) at hospital # 2 (10-15 minute drive) Im a CRCST at both hospitals.
