🔘As per AWS:
Angle Probe Selection(Share Wave):-
0 - 30 mm Thickness - 70deg. Probe
30 - 40 mm Thickness - 60deg. Probe
> 40 mm Thickness - 45deg. Probe
👉Probes Selection According to job thickness (Longitudinal Wave)..
Upto 50mm Select T.R Probe.
Above > 50mm Job Thickness Select Normal Probe.
👉As per approved procedure:
Third way of selection of Probe angle is as per the procedure approved by any competent person/client..
