I'm assuming you're just starting off with hurling, if so you'll want to break that bad habbit asap, it takes longer to strike and you'll just get hooked in a game. There isn't much point in changing if you've been playing a club level for a while like that though.

In ice hockey you’re also supposed to put the dominant hand on top. It’s why there are more left handed shots than right handed ones

@@gregoryrudden4551 a 33 inch one. Hangs at my hip and just skims the ground. So I think it's the right size for me.

I use my dominant hand the other way like in baseball I know it's wrong but it feels more natural on my wrists and I can strike the ball longer.

Always have the urge to do this because of strain on the hands and wrist but just fighting it at the minute and carrying on lol
