[2K] Train Simulator Classic: Metro-North Harlem Line Train 667 Full Run (GCT - Southeast, NY)

- After running the line a few times and working on this scenario, I've come together with this video traversing the whole new electrified portion of the Harlem Line from Grand Central Terminal up to Southeast. I chose a run during rush hour and as won by the poll, the M7As were selected to be run for this video! I apologize for the poor framerate mostly at the GCT-Woodlawn portion of the video and two sudden stops due to the alerter not appearing in my HUD or making sound. Railworks still manages to have poor CPU multithreading with all the AI I added in to match the IRL run and I have no idea why the alerter did what it did even when disabled. However, it was a fun run and I hope you enjoy it as well!

What’s the key bing to change the destination boards?
You can't change the key binds for these units. Just the LIRR M7s which is F7 and F8. For these you have to manually change the first letter of the unit numbers in the scenario editor.

Great extension, question, do you know if there is a way to fix the alerter not sounding when ATC is operative? In the latest mod that fanrailer released featuring blended braking for the M7A, the alerter goes off but is not audible and sometimes, the M7A comes to a halt without warning. I think this might be a bug with the M7A mod because the M8 blended braking mod does not have this issue.
I don't actually as you can see in the video. Haven't figured it out afterwards either, sorry.
@@Chqnces That is okay, no worries. I think it may have something to do with the simulation script. Unfortunately, I can't find the Hudson Line Comprehensive mod that was released back in 2020. I am hoping at some point, there can be an update to this mod but in the meanwhile, I am hoping to see what I can find within the simulation script or AP file

@@Chqnces I have a long way to go but definitely look forward to learning more. There have been instances where I run TSC without mods but find that mods and enhancements make the simulator even more realistic. Thanks, I soon want to learn how to create custom consists for career scenarios with the amtrak asc-64 enhancement. I have a long way to go. Yup, because I remember before this 2022 mod he released, there was a 2020 mod without blended braking for the M7A along with the P32AC-DM. The 2020 version definitely had a working ATC alerter
@malikrthr1 Ohhh, I see what you mean and you're right. I guess he just replaces every version he upgrades to. Idk if you mean like replace locos and cars with those consists, but TS Tools can do that which is what I did
