Alright I have nothing to say. Its just ARIA has the most outstanding and beautiful OST I have ever listened.
So many songs and all are like diamonds. Bravo. Just Bravo.

It's up there alongside my all time classic Vision of Escaflowne OST. That already says a lot!

Atmospheric SOLs as I call them are well known for their stunning osts. Haibane Renmei, Sasameki Koto, Violet Evergarden. They live and breath off of music, so it's imperative that it's always beautiful every time.

I love this song and like all of Aria, its the embodiment of that intangible thing we call wonderful. When I hear this I think of the girl I loved unconditionally who I also shared Aria with. I can't be with her anymore, so this song is painful, but I'll never stop loving it.

If this is in the show, I haven’t gotten to it yet. Right now I’m halfway through season 2, but it still sounds like Neo-Venezia. Like the buildings, like the calm water, like the soaring birds. Like Aqua. Each song from Aria is like that, and every part of this show continues to impress me

such is the norm for obscure japanese artists. they show up, record a few beautiful songs, then vanish off the face of earth. I've come across a few and am still in search of more hidden gems

imo, if you truly think you like japanese music, you should learn japanese - just start small, 10 minutes a day at first - because you will be able to appreciate the music 1,000 times more. Trust me. As an english speaker who's learned japanese i can tell you from personal experience, the music is 1,000 more incredible when you actually understand what they're saying (not just reading subtitles and translations).
Reading translations and thinking you know what the song is like is the same as watching pornography and thinking you know what sex is like.
The same goes for anime. Watching anime with subtitles is not the same thing AT ALL as watching without and knowing japanese. First of all, you're so busy reading the words that you can't truly focus on the art and what is going on. 2nd of all, you miss so much of the nuance and feeling and essence of the dialogue. You can't truly understand the characters and who they are. and english dubs....... forget about it. pure garbage.

@hello I've just been studying youtube videos for the past 2 years.
      The best channels are:
      Japanese From Zero (George)
      Japanese Ammo (Misa)
      Real Japanese (Miku)
Learn Japanese From Some Guy (Jeremy)
I learned how to write the japanese alphabet from japanesepod101.
