    No, the episode was Martin talking to his wife (who was a Marketing Executive on the show) one day and long story short, Martin was saying how men can play better than women in any sport (or something).. and His wife made a bet with him saying, " I bet you my girls to play against your guys in basketball". He, of course, laughed then said ok. When the day came for them to play each other, He brought his friends... His wife (who, again, on the show was a Marketing Exec) brought her clients, who was the women's Olympic basketball team. Her team won

      @Kissypooh 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "His friends" versus the 'Women's Olympic basketball team'"? Are you comparing apples and oranges or are you comparing science vs fiction, or are you comparing your ego versus reality? Like literally. Elite female athletes will always beat joe blow nerd gamer weakling "men." Duh, What did you prove? Oh, some women, can beat some, or average, or most men? Bravo!!!!! How many elite women have ever beaten elite men? When has it ever happened? Is this a knock on women? No, may it never be. God designed women to be world record holders in love, in nurturing, in relationships, in social glue, in compassion, in encouragement, and in so many things far-far more important than athletics or strength or physical competition. Yes, far more important things than your understanding of "manly" things. And the only person surprised is you.

    Camilla Cardoso was DQed because she played for South Carolina not because she pushed Flau’jay Johnson. If pushing was the reason HVL pushed Cardoso, Flau’jay Johnson threw an elbow at and made contact with Ashlyn Watkins jaw but only one DQ. Angel Reeves played dirty the whole game, 1 Carolina player and 3 LSU player 100% of Carolina DQ, 3 players from LSU no DQ,

You can bet that Kim Mulkey will use the Cardoso incident every which way she can as cannon fodder to rile LSU fan base and her team up and manipulate the refs to call fouls on Cardoso if ever they meet in the finals.

    Stewart was on a team with all 4 and 5 star recruits. Caitlin is on a team of 2 and 3 star recruits and took them to a championship game. That is far more impressive than anything Stewart did. The totality of a team wins championships, and when you're surrounded by 6 or 7 other girls that are on or near your level of play, it's a lot easier than getting a team with half your talent to that same level. Caitlin is the goat. South Carolina lost because they were out coached and outplayed, and that is not a knock on Staley. Iowa just had a great game plan, and Caitlin was on a role

    How can 0 championships be greater than 4 straight. No other player can claim that. You obviously don’t understand what a great player is. I’m not talking about your “favorite” player. I’m talking about the best player. I know that you are loyal to Caitlin and it makes you biased. Think about this. Pete Maravich accomplished his scoring record in just 3 seasons. Caitlin took 4. There is also a women’s player back in the 70’s who still holds the scoring record but it is not recognized because it occurred in the old AIAW. The NCAA didn’t govern women’s basketball until the 80’s. By the way. She did it in 3 years also. You will be blind and deaf to that because you are biased towards Clark. What Maravich and that woman from the AIAW accomplished in 3 years is far greater than what Clark has. Also if I’m not mistaken those players played less games

      "That woman's" name is Ms. Pearl Moore who scored 4,061.

    Why the full-court press promoting women's basketball, which has basically no audience. And to pick a coach whose team basically is the collegiate 80s Detroit Pistons? Come on.

      I have to say you are way way out of line. Please educate yourself on the viewer stats for many women's game, unless you already have and don't want to admit it. And as well, by referencing the 80s Pistons and comparing the SC team to them , you're essentially saying they are too physical - correct me if I'm wrong. And finally, I got news for you, today's basketball, male or female, is a physical game - but also filled with high level skills at all positions. That's what progress is.

    Hey Dan! Novel concept…how about Lisa Bluder? You know…Caitlin’s coach the past 4 years? How come only two coaches in college get to be stars? Pathetic really!

      No one wants to talk to Lisa Bluder. She had what, 1-2 decent years as a coach. She doesn’t have nearly the resume as Dawn. Pro ball player , coaching college and playing pro ball simultaneously. The flag bearer for the USA Olympic delegation. Gold medalist, as a player AND coach. Coming from the projects to being a millionaire. Oh! and she has a swag that you just can’t buy.

      @@myjjobsession9084 Love Dawn Staley and S.C. but Lisa Bluder needs some shine too. She doesn't have the professional bb resume that Staley has but she's run a good program at Iowa for years. I want to see the women's game continue to grow and shining the light on more of the coaches and players is a good thing.

    It's a shame she can't say "parents", plural. It's also clear of her downplaying Kaitlen Clarke"s greatness. Sad comment by the community to deny Clarke's position in women's BB due to "things" other than her skills and results.

      First of all....don't think Dawn meant anything about the single use of parent. Also, if you are going to stand up for Clark...then spell her name right...Caitlin Clark. Dawn loves her play and said so. She's also going to bring up the other greats from the past. Caitlin hasn't passed those greats yet...maybe one day in the WNBA she will.

      MrPink.. What??? So, because she doesn't put Clark the greatest ever out of all generations, she's downplaying her?? Geez, you Iowa/Clark fans are so butthurt, it's extremely embarrassing.

      Most of those girls have two parents but she spends an awfully lot of time talking to their mothers, Poa dad and she talks a lot and that is according to those players. Unfortunately, she gave Clarke too much credit. Clarke isn't the best player since she entered into college and she definitely is not better than Paige Bueckers, who bested her whenever they faced.

      She said she’s the greatest of her time. It is true. In the age of come down court and jack up a 3. Yes, but true grind it out team ball belongs to a whole bunch of other women. I’m glad he mentioned Nancy Lieberman. She played on a men’s pro team. You have T. Spoon, who was really the woman version of Allen Iverson. Swoopes, Cooper, Moore, Holdsclaw, Pinechiero ( the baddest point I’ve ever seen). Then the top of the women’s basketball mountain, Cheryl Miller. Dawn gave Clark credit, but true fans know, she’s no where near those before her. And truthfully, she would foul out every game of the refs bothered to call that push off she does every time she gets the ball.
